What will the neighbors think?
@ ime: Funny video. A couple of peripheral elements of it that I especially liked: The bulldog throughout, and at 1:09 the printing of counterfeit money. Looks like they used an old ditto machine as a prop for that!

Tijuana or City of Industry, CA? Help!
Also two Anaheim clubs, Flamingo and Sahara (close together) are known for high mileage, but the quality of girls is low. The advantage of COI/ La Puente is that there are six nude clubs all very close together. Most are pretty well-known "mileage machines." It's easy to go club hopping in that area. If you don't like one, there are five others close by. Also, as Shadow mentioned, the Tropical Lei, in Upland is a convenient drive from COI/La Puente.

Shadow, I've been there and done that too. Basically, if you bring a dancer home with you, that problem "goes with the territory." As I've mentioned several times on TUSCL, I've had many dancers come to my house for OTC. Now that I live in a condo, their path from the parking area in front of my unit to my front door, isn't too obvious to my neighbors, but earlier, when I lived in a house (typical suburban neighborhood), I was always concerned about the neighbors seeing all these young, pretty, voluptuous girls coming to my house. Particularly one of my next door neighbors. My driveway was in plain sight of their front porch. I think that neighbor did notice two different girls arriving at my house within the same week, one time. Oh, well. I only lived there another few months after that.

Dancers and Precious Stones
At one of the clubs I go to there was a time when two dancers worked there together named, "Gem" and "Jewel." They both had friendly arguments over who was the more precious (also a common dancer stage name).

Treasures Steakhouse in Las Vegas- Dining with a Dancer questions
I had a related experience. My ATF was dancing in Las Vegas the last couple of years I knew her. There were a lot of the strip clubs in Vegas that she hadn't gotten around to seeing on her own that she wanted to see, so when I came to town, in addition to seeing her at her club and doing some OTCs with her, I'd usually take her to another couple of clubs she wanted to see. One was Treasures, and we had dinner in the restaurant. We both liked the food very much. At the time, it was located so you really couldn't see the main floor from any of the tables, except one. We WANTED to be able to see the floor while dining, so we took that table, and got a slot view. It was a great experience, all around.

For the next time some one askes you what to buy a stripper. :)
When I saw the "VAGINA-COLOURED LIPSTICK," that reminded me of something I read years ago about lipstick. Supposedly, its invention was for the purpose of simulating the color of a vagina on a woman's (mouth) lips. I had forgotten (fortunately) all about that until now! (Thanks for the mammories, Shadowcat.)

Ranukam, 1. As you are aware, yes, I've had a couple dozen send me pics. (I've also been granted permission to take sexy pics of many more.) When unlimited profile pics could be posted on TUSCL, I had a lot of these displayed. 2. No.

Strbk and Joker, Thanks for your research. That confirms it. The excerpt IS from Ken Burns' *Baseball* which aired in 1994 (I can't believe that series is twenty years old now!) However, I was mistaken on the narrator. It was John Chancellor (not David McCullough). Chancellor was best known for his 1970-82 stint as anchor of the *NBC Nightly News.* See first paragraph under "Format" in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_burns_baseball for the mention of Chancellor as narrator. David McCullough was the narrator for the *American Experience* for twelve seasons (1988-99), so he would have been available for the Baseball series in 1994. That's what may have thrown me. BTW, the link that Joker provided is much clearer to view than the You Tube link (sorry Mikeya). And, last night's (7/4/2014) ABC World News had a segment on Gehrig's speech.

Indeed! A truly great moment in baseball history. I'd love to know where the You Tube excerpt came from. I skimmed through all the comments, and no one mentioned its origin. If anyone knows and can determine it, please let me know. 1. I recognize the narrator's voice as David McCullough. 2. He was a long time host and narrator for the PBS series, "The American Experience." I've seen most of its episodes over the past 30 years. But, I don't remember one including the Gehrig farewell speech. 3. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Experience and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_Experience_episodes

Slightly OT: Dancer transition to other work
There's nothing off-topic at all about your thread. That's discussed a lot. I have three former faves that are in that state (of confusion) right now. I don't think any of the three did much to prepare for their lives after dancing. They're just burned out from dancing. I wonder how long it'll be before at least one or two of them return to the stage and pole.

Stripper Economics The Highs and Lows of Making Money While Dancing Nude
I noticed at least one inaccurate statement: "No one can buy a house, no one can buy a car," she says. "Everyone goes through shady back avenues.... You need that kind of income on paper." I know several dancers that bought have either houses and/or new cars since they started dancing. One interesting point is that the article does acknowledge that strippers aren't the only profession that works as independent contractors. Most articles on this subject "conveniently" overlook that point: "Unlike other independent contractors (say, a coder who works from home or a freelance journalist who lives at coffee shops), employers—in basically everything but name—set strippers' schedules" But, then it seems to act surprised about the independent contractor status: "Imagine, for a moment, that you had to pay your boss a little something when you got to work—maybe five bucks or maybe 200," All around, it's not much different than other articles that have been written on the same subject, and there's nothing special or unique about using Portland as an example. The same article could be written about strip clubs anywhere.

Didn't somebody just ask what you had to do to get banned from a strip club?
She only got banned from the one club where she committed the offense. Not such a great penalty. In looking at TUSCL's map of Allentown, PA, I see that there are several other strip clubs in the area.

Yogi Berra-isms
A few favorites of his: "You can observe a lot by watching." "I really didn't say everything I said." "Half of this game is ninety percent mental" "It ain't over 'til it's over." "It get late early out there." (in reference the shorter days at the end of the season.) "Got two tens for a five?" (Oops sorry. That was Abbott & Costello) Besides his famous quotes, there are lots of funny stories about him. Two are: 1. Yogi has more quotes in Bartlett's Quotations than any living U.S. president. 2. When the Yankees first started making trips to L.A., because the newly formed Los Angeles Angels were now (1961) on their schedule, Yogi first learned of the Yogi Bear cartoons. He planned to sue Hanna Barbera over the use of his name, until someone reminded him that his real name is Lawrence.

Turning down dancers looking for dances
@ Oscar: Great line of yours! -- "You're denying all these other guys the pleasure of your company. Please don't let me stand in their way." I'll have to remember that, if I'm ever in need of it. But, I haven't had the need for a snappy line like that in several years.

@ joker: I think the daughter is about age 8. Surely her husband must know what she does for a living now, and that she is a former stripper. I think they were dating back in her dancing days, which was just a few years ago.

PSA: Always lock up your guns.....er, sex toys
I know a former dancer who is now a web cam actress. In one of her sessions, she was displaying one or more dildos, and mentioned to one of her customers on line at the moment, "Oh, I have dildos all over the house." (Likely an exaggeration.) What her audience probably doesn't know is that she's married and has a young daughter at home. I wonder if the daughter ever found any of mommy's "toys."
