Major Leaguer Stabbed Outside SD Strip Club
From the website, it looks like a nice mainstream club. Maybe Pham encountered some Rays fans in town celebrating last night's victory?

Basketball's evil empire rises again though they had to sacrifice one of their greats earlier this year. They say a parade is postponed indefinitely. Folks still gathered around the Staples Center throwing bottles and rocks at cops.

    American Pie movies.
Direct to DVD/streaming with subpar actors for most of the series. Looks like it's a completely new cast for #9 without even a cameo from Eugene Levy who had appeared in every movie of the series previously.

This will be the beginning of the end..
If this is like what happened to the St Louis Cardinals, the Titans' Week 5 game will likely be postponed as well. It took around 2 weeks for new positive tests from popping up. This could be a hidden blessing to the Titans who are currently undefeated if they base final standings off winning percentage rather than wins. Just look how covid helped the Marlins and Cardinals slide into the MLB playoffs.

    Flight Attendants
Hot young women in the US do not gravitate towards the flight attendant profession. That may not be the case in some other countries, so the international carriers have better aesthetics. Of the domestic carriers, Virgin America had the hottest ones, but a bunch were let go after the acquisition by Alaska a few years ago.

    What is a tip walk?
When I was in London about a decade ago, this was very common. A lot of the clubs lacked private dances and most of the performers went around collecting a pound or more from each customer in the club (no matter where you sat or stood) after her stage show.

Name the Best Movie You've Seen That Nobody Else Have
I actually watched The Hunt within the last month. It was excellent, and Betty Gilpin does great in the leading role. To add a title, I'll say: Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0082639/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1

    Jet Strip Reopening
Weird that the re-opening is done a bit on the down-low. Are they technically not supposed to be open in LA County? Are they letting everyone in, or will it be more like a private club?

    "Cuties"
Not the most controversial foreign film I have seen, but I can understand the negative sentiment. It would never get produced in the US, but this is a French film. If they gave it a NC17 and only kept the French title, Mignonnes, I think it would go over better and many would view it is more as avant garde French cinema.

Football is back who ya got ?
What happened to college football? There are still no decent games in September. I expected to see some on CBS, but instead they were showing a NWSL game. A small silver lining is the NWSL has some hot girls. They are very fit, but still have some decent slight curves. If they played in sports bras and short shorts, they could be the #1 viewed women's sports league. I got Chiefs and Steelers this week in my survivor pool.

As others have said, just be appreciative that they are open. If you lived in a blue state, there would most likely be no decent clubs open and be forced to wear a mask in public.

    Overhyped places IYO
Chicago. Most people can't go there now due to their long list of origins that must be quarantined, but I always felt it was very overrated. The weather sucks, high percent of obese people for a big urban city, expensive for the Midwest and surprisingly dirty. Violent crime is quite high no matter how you slice and dice the statistics. The sports fans are very passionate, but generally not that bright and quite obnoxious. Old Style has to be one of the worst regional favorite beers. You meet so many former Chicagoans because everyone wanted to get out except the poor saps from IN, IA and WI that think Chicago is the ultimate big city. I'll take your deep dish pizza and maybe your popcorn, but you can keep everything else. Also to keep it on topic with the site, their strip clubs suck!

Interesting range of comments. It sounds like the best strip club areas in the US currently are Texas and Florida (less South Florida). The entire Pacific time zone is now a wasteland even including Arizona.

The curse of the Clippers is real! I don't want to see the Lakers go all the way, but it almost seems inevitable. At least, the Eastern Conference Finals looks tight. When the NBA Finals roll around, I think I will direct my sports focus to baseball and hope another LA-based team falters.

Northern California is closed indefinitely. I could see many if not most of them never re-opening. Many believed it was imminent even before covid due to the independent contractor ban in California.

@winex Nope, each team can be used 1x. 2 picks in weeks 1-15 and 1 pick in weeks 16-17, so all 32 teams would be used if the contest goes that long. We had ~800 entries last year, and it didn't make it past Halloween.

Stay out of California. It is the apocalypse. All decent clubs are closed and large portions of the state are on fire. The AQI is approaching 200 in many areas.

No longer play fantasy, but still do a corporate survivor pool. I picked the Pats and Bills (requires two picks per week for the first 15 weeks) in Week 1.
