Of the NFL season:
This will be the beginning of the end..

Jump to latestThe NFL decided to not use a bubble as many other pro sports leagues have done. This must have been considered when they decided on this approach.
This is one of those jobs where working from home doesn’t really work.
The difference here is most NFL players cant retire off one contract. Baseball middle relievers are earning 4-7m a year and NBA players bank. The shelf life of the average NFL player isnt that long. They need to make paper while they can.
On the bright side, if the season stops, then they'll have more time for their "activism"
^^^ ouch!!
antifa is looking for someone for their squad that can throw a molotov farther than 5 yards.
Humanity has lost its collective mind. We're talking about a mild illness in the vast majority of cases, with a 99.7 percent survival rate. Not to mention the significant number of false positive tests. In fact, this illness is so bad most people who get it never even know they had it.
Stop being scaredy cats people. This is a con job. China where it came from has returned to normal. Does anyone really believe they've "eradicated" it? No, they know its a minor illness and are just dealing with it.
Wake up and smell the con job. You've been had.
If the season continues - with the positive covid cases - it will make fantasy football leagues a bit more interesting.
There are known players who might be injury prone, but the chance of becoming covid positive is a huge unknown.
I concur with the fantasy take; total wild card.
If this hits another say, 3-4 teams the whole season may get blown up.
They are postponing the game 2 days. It’s a far cry from the end of the world. Just means we get to watch more football, likely moved to national tv, on Tuesday. NFL finds ways to make more money in a crisis to get back some of the money lost by not playing the preseason.
Jimmy, you are dealing with outdated information.
Originally the plan was to push the came back to Monday or Tuesday. That is no longer the case.
Now they are going to do something with juggling bye weeks. The Steelers and Titans didn't have the same week off originally scheduled, so there is some schedule juggling that will have to be done.
Read the link I posted.
If this is like what happened to the St Louis Cardinals, the Titans' Week 5 game will likely be postponed as well. It took around 2 weeks for new positive tests from popping up.
This could be a hidden blessing to the Titans who are currently undefeated if they base final standings off winning percentage rather than wins. Just look how covid helped the Marlins and Cardinals slide into the MLB playoffs.
As long as the titans are isolating, I’d think they’d have enough players to play in week 5.
And 3 more Titans players test positive in practice today
Cam Newton tests positive for COVID-19 and is out for the game on Sunday.
2020 - what a year - all that's left is for the damn Marxists to take power
and the polls show they are doing well.
It is too early to be sure, but it is looking like the Patriots/Chiefs game is going to be moved to Tuesday.
The Chiefs are also scheduled to play a week from this coming Thursday.
So if they have a Tuesday night game, they will have to play 3 times in 9 days.
That's not a good way to stay healthy.
Hearing now that the scout team QB on the Chiefs also tested positive.
There may be other players on both teams.
NFL announced the Pats-Chiefs game is rescheduled for Monday at 405pm on CBS.
I think that is still dependent on COVID tests tomorrow.
If there are no positives, you are correct. If there are positives, who knows?

As of now, the NFL intends to play the Titans Steelers game on Sunday
