My understandings are also skewed because I get so much of my info from strippers but I think you are right on almost every point. The only thing I might disagree with is the implication that millennials don't want traditional dating. I think the women often seek out a traditional dating/boyfriend relationship, perhaps because they truly desire a marriage with kids, but the guys resist it and smartly refuse to play that game. Good for them. Young guys today get more pussy than I did when I was as young, and they don't put up with as much bullshit as I did to get it.
