Sam, you're supposed to encourage the "Harlow World Tour '11" with an opening night in Columbus!

Sam, in order to receive such a rich valuation there has to be a pretty big potential way to make bank. Having the best marketing info on the public to sell to interested parties would do it. Course it will be peddled (marketed) by Facebook & Wall St. differently.

"so... someone stole my panties"
How come I never got a writing prompt like that when I was in school? Yeah, I'm a guy ... but I'm sure there's fertile material to run with.
Speaking of which: As poor college students way back when, we went to a department store to help them do their annual inventory. Though there were way more women than men among the recruits, somehow the foreman matched me up with counting women's panties, bin after bin of them. Course the gals got a kick out of it...

I'm guessing he'll get low mileage for quite sometime if he ever returns/is allowed back.

re: "piles of garbage"
Due to New York's age, alleys weren't built into the blocks as in more modern cities. Thereby trash has to be hauled out to the curb where it sits until the streets are plowed. The trash heaps provide fertile feeding ground for the well-known rat population.
NYC (under Giuliani) kicked the strippers (hookers) and strip clubs out of Times Square. Now they're letting the Cheetah girls back in to shovel???

Happy birthday, Shadowcat!
Steve, it's The Waffle House which is close by the PP, not Denny's. Many a fabled tale of dancer sightings at TWH...

But the girls are friendly...
Actually, I clicked on the writer's bio and he has been to some clubs in other parts of the country. That's good. But Portland clubs are very low contact (her knees touched mine during a 'private dance' at The Acropolis) or no contact. How that (a city of air dances) justifies a #6 rating on the TUSCL is what spurred me to start the discussion topic.

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
Probably much more improtant in the escort world. Some guys are just lonely for companionship and then a gal's ability to intelligently engage on a particular topic of interest can fill a void.

Steve229: I can give you the place-- Henry the VIII in Southgate, MI. All I did is ask a nice-looking, all natural gal as she was getting off the stage for a VIP dance. Though it happened to be $10 dance day, she removed the bikini entirely and said "Do you want a $10 dance or a $20 dance?" I meekly replied, "What's a $20 dance?" She leaned forward, unzipped me britches, brought Moby forth and proceeded to engorge... I did get her # and she was to be free the next day, but that coincided with multiple other options: the waitress at Bogart's I had dropped my room key card into her ample & shapely cleavage and a Bogart's dancer who gave me 11 songs worth of everything in the corner of VIP on their $10 dance day (she reported 5 O's ... so she should've paid me!!!!)

It's also good survey fodder--What percentage of dancers would answer "I agree" to the statement "Anything left over goes to weed and clothes"???

I should have that made into a bumper sticker for my ride:

Phew! I worried I had witnessed the outcome of a genetic cross between a beautiful woman and a dark, geometric figure...

Texas Hold Em in a strip club? Idle dancers will just sit at the upstairs bar and wait for a winner to celebrate, identify the prey, and then swarm the football as if a fumble had occurred in the lkast minute of a tie game. I can hear the solicitors now "How about a victory BJ???"

It can be interesting. Once upon a time I started at one end of 8 Mile in Detroit and hit every club. #2, Penthouse, drained me in a good way. Stop #3 was Tycoons, a club which I had sought out because super-hot lil cutie said she'd be working there that evening. Well, she wasn't. And it was slow in the club to the point the manager told me for cover whatever I could toss into the tip jar for his door gal. I threw in a few bucks and walked the length of the small place to the bar and ordered a beer. Back to the bar, I was quickly surrounded (left, right, and one standing in front) by 3 reasonably attractive gals. The one standing in front claimed to be an MSU coed and commenced working my male member with both her hands in front of the other two. Gal to the right was the best looking (very pretty!) and said she had only made like $4 on the night. Gal on the left was the most shapely and patronized her on later visit. Unfortunately, while I paid a kingly sum at The Penthouse, on this night I could've lived like a king at Tycoons! (I only had like $64 left by the time I had arrived at Tycoons...)

Hey, I'd be up for bringing my own bottled water (lol). Last time in to Bogart's (MI), the bartendress gave me $1 back out of my $10 for a bottled water it took all of 5 seconds at most to serve up.
McDougall's (in Baltimore) is BYOB and full nude, but the dances are done on stackable chairs opposite the pool tables. For $30 you get a naked honey on your lap you can't touch and the crew of guys playing pool get to watch free of charge.

And obviously the "My boyfriend is a police officer!" had little street cred. It would seem wise to avoid this club...

Gosh I sure hope the comments in this thread don't spark an international incident. Our trade deficit is already big enough. The last thing we need is yet more greenbacks sucked out of the Detroit economy.

" "This establishment will cause an immediate increase in the amount of alcohol and traffic related incidents." "
HA! Drinks at Rick's (for customers) mind you, are expensive. American Airlines must be worried about their pilots getting sauced.
"Strip clubs and airports go together like bread and butter."
Yeah, Centerfolds in Columbus, OH, exists solely to loot the traveling husband who can't wait to get some action. Too bad a VIP dance there is so tame it could only be summed up as a feminist's revenge.

Only $17 million? I'm sure Donald Trump will be right over with a suitcase full of cash.
Interesting tale from Las Vegas: The Fountainbleau was to be a $4 billion resort development. It's financiers stopped it in '09 after $3 billion had been spent. Carl Icahn stepped in and bought it for $156 million. That's 5.2% of the cash spent which was recouped. Icahn then sold off all of the furnishings and it presently stands unfinished and mothballed.
5.2% of $17 million is $884k. Given the Detroit economy, that may be optimistic.
