Man arrested for battery after skipping out on strip club tab, refusing to tip d

FORT WALTON BEACH — A 45-year-old man was arrested at a strip club Jan. 7 and charged with battery, according to arrest reports.

Okaloosa County deputies were called to Sammy's Gentleman's Club early Friday morning after the Destin man left the bar without paying his tab, according to the reports. Deputies found him across the street at Club 10 and brought him back to Sammy's to pay his tab.

An entertainer from the club then told deputies that the man had also pushed her down to the floor after she asked him to tip the dancers, the report said. Two witnesses and video survellience corraborated the entertainer's story, according to the report.

The man told deputies he only pushed the entertainer because she struck him first, according to the report.

The man was charged with misdeamenor battery.
