If there was some other viable industry to make use of the land, the brothels would be gone. The soil sucks in Nevada.<p>
Hof probably paid Reid to bring the topic to the fore so Hof could reap all of the PR.

"Jones was "making it rain," or throwing wads of dollar bills from a large plastic trash bag onto a stage. He then became angry when the strippers picked up the money, and a brawl broke out, police said."
He threw money on the stage and then got upset when the dancers picked up the money ... What am I missing???

I just hope she gives a "heads up" prior to a Hugger appearance -- then I can borrow the local library's bookmobile to get there!

Yeah, New Century & Market Street Cinema are pretty full of hustlers, much more so than any other clubs I've visited. Yet guys keep finding this website and then write a review complaining after the fact, which is amazing. Do the homework ahead of time and avoid the snake pits!

Much of "Navada" is poor soil ill-suited for farming. Thereby once you get outside of the cities, there's nothing there. No neighbors to upset, and why the brothels are mobile trailers just deposited on land no one will miss.

"But to say that ALL dancers are (and I'm quoting gatorfan here) "lying thieving whores" is a bit of an oversimplification."<p>
Sounds more like Dougster -- must've hacked Gator's account.

SuperDude, sounds like you could write a book on Stripper Sh*t.
Last time at Henry's North, had a nice, natural young blonde sit down and open with "I'm really behind on my rent." Lame? No. But it was over-the-top in terms of frankness.

Keep my fingers crossed I don't get mugged at that hour (last time I closed a club was Henry the VIII in Inkster, a dive bar in a sketchy area...)

Steve229: In your backyard: McDougall's. Stackable chairs out in the open, but next to the pool tables. Hot honey can grind away (you can't touch), and the guys playing pool get the free show while you pay the $30 per. So, when in McDougall's, play pool!

PRAISE BE TO FOUNDER!!!<p>
Not that it was your doing, but not long after receiving (arguably) the best article TUSCL has ever posted (which surely may lead to others taking advantage of the free space here), I couldn't understand why such a move (the inline ads) would be done. I did click on Mxoxo's article to see how many instances of 'green line mania' polluted the piece. Turns out I only counted 6! So evidently there is some sanity to the inline ad software.<p>
That said, I first encountered the inline popup ads on Jim Cramer's TheStreet.com about 6 years ago. I was a paid subscriber, yet they introduced the inline ads to every key word! It was impossible to read the columnists' work without something popping up waaaay too much. I wrote and complained and threatened to terminate my subscription. Within a few days they pulled it (I believe feedback was overwhelmingly negative.)<p>

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
Hillary Clinton coined the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child." GMD apparently found some residents making the local economy go.

ME NO LIKEY!!!
Besides the unwanted video player download, embedded key words are double underlined in green. Moving the cursor over them links to a gal and a statement "Grow your thingy an extra 3 inches for free." How'd they know my problem???!!! That said, there's 6 connections to the same pop up alone in the postings ahead of me. Talk about annoying! May have to dump TUSCL...

As the stated area is CA, that includes Mitchell Brothers O'Farell Theater, "The Place for Public Sex in America." Indeed condoms sit out in the open all about the place, only beware the price will be high.

Had to address the initials HJ yesterday while with a client. I got it right the first time by caught myself about to say hand job the second time... that would've been a major no-no.

Most gas stations are corporately-owned -- the independents have been squeezed out. Their prices are set by ownership, and are traditionally set at 75 cents higher than the futures' price. A couple of summers ago, when the price hit $4.50 a gallon in many parts of the U.S., it was divulged the coporate central offices require their affiliates to set their retail price one penny above what they tell them to when the price is increasing. HOWEVER, when the price is falling, there is no such mandate. Thereby stations cut the price at different rates because they can pocket the extra amount.<p>
If you want someone to harpoon, look no further than Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Fed. His playbook has been to through the dollar to the wind in order to bailout the financial misdeeds of Wall St. Investors know this and have been front-running Bernanke the entire time. Hence commodities (oil and gas, food, etc.) have been attractive investments because of a falling dollar. Casualties have been regimes in Egypt and Tunisia as food prices have doubled yet the poor haven't experienced income growth.<p>
Barry Ritholtz, author of Bailout Nation, has tracked basically all of the misbehaviors of the recent financial crisis and I posted one of his blog posts in TUSCL's blog section. Sadly no one seems to have cared enough to read it.<p>
