Sometimes easy to get into the habit of spending too much just because we're having a good time, isn't it?
One of my former favorites (now out of the business and happily married) was one of my favorites, not only because she was just a delight to be around, but because she was the exact opposite of a cock-blocker. Despite being absolutely anti-extra for herself, she had no problem at all keeping me abreast of who would and wouldn't fuck, who the drug users were, and being a "reference" for the girls who were in doubt about me.

Pretty sure I've told this one here before, but I had a dancer once, prolly 15 or more years ago, give me a card for her completely legit interior design consulting business that she used to launder her dancer money, including what she made from extras. She was <em>very</em> good at both sex and interior design, and by the time she retired (about 5 years ago, at some ridiculously young age, like 30 or35) she had several million dollars in investments. From her Facebook, she still dabbles, but spends more time on a Pacific island beach than she does in any office.

I can think of several reasons for a spouse not to advertise their spouse's sex work, and none of them are any kind of <em>real</em> "shame". Avoiding confrontation with self-righteous prudes. Keeping CPS or other agency from poking their nose where nobody is actually being hurt. Not giving bullies any ammunition against kids who don't understand. Protect business interests from previously mentioned self-righteous prudes. And of course, the simplest one, it's none of anyone else's business.

There's nothing inherently wrong with a married woman fucking you for money, despite what church and societal brainwashing says about it.
It's entirely possible that her husband knows all about what she's doing. I know that my ATF's husband knows all about what we did, if not every little dirty detail, then at least in general. And there's at least one other girl in town who does shit with her husband's knowledge. While I was in the VIP room with her, she called her husband on speaker to make sure it was alright to blow me.
I suspect that the source of your discomfort is, at least in part, rooted in <em>your own</em> attitude, and likely reaction were you to find out that your wife were doing such, along with your inability to understand how a "real" man would allow such a thing.

For Louisville, a Sunday/Monday stop over would be somewhat iffy. There are some clubs open, but they won't have the best girls. PT's will be open, but bring some money. If you want OTC, 4 figures is going to be needed to pull the best ones, and they won't be the low volume ones you like. Generally speaking, there's three types of girls there. High priced hookers, girl who promise reasonable prices but who will ghost, and those who don't fuck at all. Plus there's the whole no nudity thing. For less money, and a notch down in looks, you could probably pull someone from Thorobred. Blue Diamond is a waste of time, despite their upscale decor and prices.
If you are actually coming this way, I'd suggest Lexington. It's a couple hours closer, and right on I-75, plus they have nude clubs. Not sure which clubs would be best, but I've heard decent things about Cowboy's, Diva's and Platinum. Haven't been there in a decade or more though.

Only two times it's happened to me (that I can remember).
Once with the brother of a friend where we just acknowledged each other, and went on our way. He never mentioned it, and neither did I.
The other time was with a co-worker at a club that had $10 dances in an area not visible to the rest of the club, along with an informal agreement with the other dancers that the area was a "one customer at a time" area for day shift. I was at the bar shortly after work let out, and he walked out of that lap dance area behind a dancer well known for extras. I just nodded my head as he hurried out the door. He never once spoke to me again for all the years I worked there after that except via email.

It's gone both ways enough times that I'm not really sure I'd be able to say one way or another. Cannot disagree with that. I've managed to avoid descending to "disgust" to this point, possibly because I <em>started</em> with strippers some 40 years ago. It was only relatively recently that I ventured into the escort world. Since the internet was a thing by the time I got to escorts, I've been able to avoid the worst of them by actually listening to others' reports.
I've been <em>disappointed</em> more times than I'd like, but not disgusted.
All that said, some reports I see on places like USASG reveal that a lot of people do, in fact, experience various levels of buyer's remorse, even to the level of disgust.

I'll freely admit that my more recent experience (coincidentally, or not, since my ATF passed) has been in that direction as well. I now moderately often get a response that's on the order of "I'd rather not; how about somewhere else instead?" The reasons given, in addition to the "stigma" you mentioned, include increasing club strictness, and the fact that the clubs are taking more and more of the VIP fees, leaving less for the dancers. IOW, they can make more outside than in.
I still tend to ask about ITC first, as that's served me pretty well so far, and I'm a creature of habit. Given how little action I've actually gotten in a club lately, I might have to switch it up. 🤣

Though a man of many faults, Dougster was right about one thing, "just ask". They get asked all the time. To be sure, I usually ask about ITC first, because my experience is that if they won't fuck <em>in</em> the club, they probably won't do it <em>outside</em> either, but I've met exceptions to even that.

Having a boyfriend seems to decrease the chance that the kind of girls with whom I actually want to have sex will have sex with me. There are plenty of the type I wouldn't touch with with <em>y'all's</em> dicks who will fuck anything with an extra buck or two.
I agree with the comments about kids being more indicative than a boyfriend alone. Case in point, the woman who's the primary reason my club visits have tapered off a bit. When she was kid free, she'd "consider" meeting, but never would actually meet up. While she was preggers with the first one is when she started to slip.
