Neil Peart. I know he was insistent that he was done with touring and that it seemed I'd seen Rush live in concert for the last time, there was always hope he might have changed his mind at some point.

I live less than 30 minutes from where I grew up. Still have friends that I've had for 40 years and my business is established here.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
I remember being in Montreal growing up for a large youth hockey tournament. The geniuses who put the tournament rules together made the tie-breaker from advancing from the group round "goals for" instead of "goals against" or any other category for that matter. One of the teams in my brother's team's bracket was obviously put in the wrong division and were completely overmatched. Unfortunately, after another team in the pool beat them by 20 goals, my brother's team had to beat them by 21 or more in case they ended up tied at the end of pool play with the first and had to have the tiebreaker. Everyone coaches, players, spectators felt awful afterwards.

@orange - I wasn't saying the two situations were equal. Just that both involved a football player driving while legally drunk and killing someone. Stallworth did all he could to man up afterwards and be a better person from it. Ruggs appears to be taking a different approach. Plus driving 156 mph was criminally reckless even if he was stone cold sober.

Thumbs down to liver. Growing up, my mother used to make chopped liver on occasion and the smell would force me out of the house.

Reminds of a similar situation involving Dante Stallworth years ago.

Rockie - The Stockyard is a consistent favorite of mine. A seat at the bar, a crock of french onion soup, and a nice steak or chop. One of life's simple pleasures.

Many, many grocery items, bacon being one that has stuck out in particular. Price is way up and it's never on sale, at least not around where I live.

It reminds me of reading a story about Christopher Walken. Apparently he is so afraid of guns, then when he is in a scene involving a gun, he checks and rechecks multiple times to make sure. If anyone here has ever seen the movie "At Close Range" in the climactic scene near the end when Sean Penn's character points a gun at his head, Sean Penn grabbed the gun before Walken had a chance to check it, so the look of total fear on his face was real.
That said, this was a damn shame. And anyone who is tempted to cheer this happening to Alec Baldwin, you should be thinking about the completely innocent cinematographer and director who were killed and injured instead.

I go into the club with enough money to have a good time. On the rare occasion that I empty my wallet, then I damn sure am not going to dig the pit a little deeper. Plus I refuse to be gouged, even though my bank reimburses me a certain amount of times per month for out of network ATM fees.

Years ago in South Florida I had a dancer tell me that if there was a blowjob competition, she'd win. Talk about setting high expectations...

Still looking for an ATF
If Nicolette's business plan, so to speak, works for her, then more power to her I guess. Personally I think she gives off an unmistakable aura of tension and drama and I have no interest. I'm happy to spend my money elsewhere and I have zero intention of being exclusive to one dancer at a club, any club.

Every woman's local ATM while in da club? How else they paying for their Boob jobs?
Absolutely that is a regular feature at Desire. I'd estimate that a dancer that says she'll come find you after she gets off the stage, you might have a 50-50 chance that it actually happens. Those might be generous odds actually.

I think in particular the homophobic comments were really going to be a locker room problem since a Raiders player (Carl Nassib) came out in the offseason. I also think given his questionable job performance in the first place, this was the perfect excuse to send him out the door. The fact that he resigned rather than be fired is all the better for them, as now they don't have to pay the remainder of his contract.

Wow. Do NOT like specific names to specific acts. You are just asking to cause problems for the girl or the club. Or maybe that's your intention.
