@rattdog - I don't know, I've never been. I've been to Chasers in Salem, NH a few times, but never Boston Billiards at least not yet. I hear good things about it though.

I've been playing poker in home games. The word is that when the poker room at Encore reopens, there will be no tournaments, much fewer tables, and limited hours. At least one of the poker rooms in New Hampshire, Boston Billiards, is running tournaments. I haven't played there yet, but some fellow players in home games that I play in have. Not sure if any of the other NH poker rooms are running tournaments.

@misterorange - Chris Squire from Yes died before they were inducted as well.

^ Yup, the late Ryan Dunn did it because Steve-O refused. A good rule of thumb is that if Steve-O won't do something, it's probably a bad idea.

My cousin is married to an ER nurse in South Florida. Among his stories is a guy who came to the emergency room with an apple stuck up his ass. Specifically a red delicious. I can't even wee them in the produce section at the grocery store now without laughing.

Papi- I heard and read plenty of criticism when he was hired. All those money and years for a guy with no NFL experience. Comparisons to Nick Saban with the Dolphins and Bobby Petrino with the Falcons, which were both disasters. Etc. etc.

Another big difference is the salary cap. If a college coach can convince 5 of the top 10 recruits to sign an LOI with his program, then that's great for him. Nick Saban's recruiting at this point is akin to ordering off a menu. I'll take this OL, this RB, this OLB etc... No NFL team can sign 5 of the top 10 free agents because there's no way to pay them all and fit it under the cap. It makes is much harder to build an NFL roster than a college roster and much different.

I thought it was a bad idea when the hire was announced in the first place. I was wrong. It was worse.

@desertscrub - Which must REALLY be news to those living in Chicago, LOL. You'd have thought he could have at least made a rudimentary attempt to have his story be believable...

@ski - South Pacific was good, but I can think of several other places in the Brookline/Newton/Wellesley area both present and past, that I think are/were better than South Pacific, one past example being China Sails in Chestnut Hill. Been gone many years, but that place was SO good.

I didn't even get through the whole article I read about this guy. About halfway through was enough. This guy is a sick fuck.
