School-girl look does nothing for me, but then again, I'm not attracted to underage girls, including 25-year-old women trying to look like underage girls. My favorite outfits are definitely those that are more "real". I was at Treasure's in Houston a few weeks ago, and a totally gorgeous girl who was wearing white shorts and a white zip-up top came up to me. It was an outfit she could have worn outside the club and she looked wholesome and fantastic in it. So, in general, I guess I'm tired of stripper outfits that look like stripper outfits.

I was at a club in Reno a while ago, and one of the strippers had what I thought was a very sexy outfit. She was wearing a man's white dress shirt, sleeves rolled up, three or four buttons unbuttoned, and black panties. It was a totally hot look and one that you might actually see in your bedroom, as opposed to a strip club. Much hotter than the stripper who is trying to look like a catholic school girl, which, to me, looks retarded. Zorro

I never really thought about it, but in my experience, I have had lots more fun with smart dancers than stupid dancers. I agree that there is probably a correlation between smart and atheist, so I guess I'd prefer atheist to god-fearing. zorro

Of course a club cannot be busted based only on a review from a website. I can imagine, however, that when LE is deciding WHICH clubs to start visiting, the internet can provide a lot of useful information to help them come up with a short list of clubs that are most likely to have illegal activities. Look, if you want to give detailed info about YOUR favorite clubs, go for it! I'm just not going to do it for the clubs I enjoy.

Explicit public reviews may bring unnecessary attention to some of my favorite clubs, which is why I don't write them. I like clubs with extras as much as anyone, and I often exchange private messages with fellow TSUCLers to get that info. I only respond to those members with lots of reviews and who have been around for awhile. This system works pretty well.

Sure, LE has NO idea what people mean when they say "takeout" or "extras". I'm sure they just sit there scratching their heads thinking "Food to go? Why do these guys care so much about that?"

arbeeguy, no argument from me, I agree with you. I'm sure the place you described (and I have been to many places like this)considers themselves upscale and classy. I don't ("wow, the high-school-dropout bouncer is wearing a rented tux! I must be in Monte-Carlo!"). My point wasn't that clubs that are considered upscale don't exist, I just don't agree with their self-assessment. I was using a general definition of upscale; strip clubs use a different set of criteria.

I'm not sure I'd ever call a strip club "upscale". I've been in many truly upscale entertainment venues, but a strip club with flunkies in tuxes is not upscale, in my opinion. Let's say "seedy" and "not so seedy". That said, I enjoy both. I like high mileage lap dances and dancers that will sit and party with you at your table, and I've gotten that at both kinds of clubs.

It seems simple to me. When demand (for dances) is high, the price can go up. What creates demand? Several things, but two common ones are: 1) lots of customers with money to burn, and 2) dancers who people want dances from. If a particular dancer is in high demand, she can usually charge more. If there are a lot of men who want to spend money, more dancers can charge more. If there are few customers, and a dancer is not a "high-demand" dance, she should charge a price that attracts more customers.

Number of times a stripper has tried to rip me off in 20 years: 3, that I can remember. Perhaps the problem is not my home or neighborhood, but rather the quality of strip club that you frequent. I rarely get ripped off at strip clubs, perhaps I am just lucky. Am I far down the social/moral ladder? Nope, quite the contrary. Believe it or not, an elevated social and economic stature is not insurance against immorality.

Miss Frankie, thanks for your offer, and here are a few questions: Do you ever offer a customer OTC time (paid time, that is)? If so, is there a particular kind of customer that you are likely to mention this to? If not, are you ever offended if a customer asks about that possibility? Thanks! Zorro

I like seeing all reviews. I understand that things can change, but I also find it interesting and sometimes enjoyably nostalgic to read old reviews. I certainly don't base my visits on old reviews, but they are still fun to read. Maybe make them available in an "archive" link for each club? Heck, I'd love to see some of my old reviews from nearly 10 years ago.
