A lot of people like to talk about their kids. So I wouldn't put much into it. Often, it is the major things people are proud of.
Others might be more manipulative, but I would put odds on they like their kids, and people talk about stuff they like.

If the stories are correct, Hugh Hefner has a bit of a ritual, and it ain't amazing sex from the girls. To my ear, it sounds like obligatory sex so he doesn't have to say they are not doing him (and they cannot say they are not doing him.)

The both of them are worthless, but at least Romney has run a company or two. I think most of the power lies in the Congress anyhow. The president originally was a manager and now ... most definitely now... should be a manager.

What Jester said. Pandering, white slavery, sex crime listing, being hauled in court as a (hostile) witness, being hauled in court as a defendant... ain't none of that good. If it comes down to it, you need to stay out of the picture. You also need to tell them, "When the police come knocking at my door, I am telling them how it is, cuz I don't need to be caught up in this thing. You keep me out of this shit."
A friend of mine sold pot for a while. One day he comes around with his arm in a sling and I ask "what happened?" Turns out he was selling a bushel of the shit and the dude decided a screwdriver into the arm was better than paying for it. My friend was like "Can you believe that?" and I was like "Yea, cuz you're drug dealer, dude. You need to expect that kind of shit. Why do you think they all walk around with guns and shit."
I honestly don't think he saw himself as a drug dealer until he got stabbed. Don't walk through life as clueless as he did. Believe me, the police will have no problem putting a label on you.
