Your are sure right about that. Some girls really know how to sell themselves to get private dances. Others don't have a clue. Personally, when a dancer sits with me and begins rubbing my leg and moving up my groin, she gets my attention. However, this does not always guarantee good results in the VIP area, but the technique got her up there and some $$.

Detroit is my city of choice for SCs. I travel often and get to Detroit on a regular basis. Like harrydave, I stay near the airport (there are a number of hotels there in various price ranges). I also like the Playhouse as it fits my style and I have gotten to know a few girls there. I've visited some of the other SCs mentioned and agree that DEEEtroit is one of the top cities in the US for great SC experiences. So lets all head to Detroit and help the economy there.

I prefer to find a strategic quiet seat away from the stage. That way I get a clear view of the club, can see the stage and check out the dancers, see who is coming into the club and leaving, and see which dancers are working the floor and how often they take a customer to the VIP area. The provides a good setting to "shop" for the dancer I want to spend some time with.

In my case, an OTC is part of the fantasy, but I have realistic expectations of the SC experience. What guy won't want to bring home one (or more) of those beautiful women we see on stage? Being a bit older, my fantasy of an OTC with a 20 something dancer is pretty cool. Remember that guys are visually stimulated and looking at good looking mostly naked dancers excites the imagination and leads to the OTC fantasy.

JudyJudy, I think your insights are correct. First, I don't think age is the primary issue. The SC experience is fantasy which would include the plausible scenario of OTC activity. Wearing your ring is an outward sign that you belong to one man and thus the fantasy of the customer is lowered and his chances of being with you OTC reduced. Showing your ring sends the message that you are not available to fulfill his fantasy, even if you are willing to. Just my $.02 worth.

A question: Do YOU ever ask a dancer if she does OTC work or have your experiences been when you were invited by the dancer? If you do ask about OTC, do dancers that don't do this get offended? Do they refer you to other girls who do? What are your thoughts.

One more thought. Wearing thin dress pants and boxes provides excellent tactile stimulation. The dancer can then feel me better and she will enjoy the ride much more. Over the years, several dancers have had orgasms with me this way. There have been some fake ones too.

QuicksandMan, I hope your recover soon. I always "dress for success". I wear silk boxers under a thin pair of dress pants. I use an older pair of pants that are well broken-in or even a bit worn. Wearing dress pants over silk boxers allows the fabric of the pants to slide smoothly over the thin boxers during an LD providing wonderful stimulation. I also adjust my pants so the zipper is off to the side a bit. If the zipper is dead center the dancer's grinding will be painful. Also, I'm not afraid to tell the dancer that I need to adjust myself when I'm getting hard and its not heading in a direction that I desire for success. Cheers.

Good thought SuperDude. I was wondering if my experience indicated a new level of intimacy with this dancer or was this another technique to get me to come back and get dances from her. I've been going to clubs for over 15 years and I understand the culture and the business motives of dancers. I don't want to read too much into her kissing me in this way, but it was a special experience for me. I'm looking forward to my next visit to the club to see what happens and take it from there. I have been a regular customer of a dancer at a club that I've visited a number of times over the past 6 months. I usually visit in the afternoon and we have gotten to know each other a bit. I'm in my 50s and she is a bit older than the other dancers. I have enjoyed my VIP sessions with her and the "dances" have been very sensuous for both of us. Now to the kissing part: Until my last time with her, we have not kissed except for the peck on the cheek when we were done. During our last dance she starting kissing me on the lips in a very tender and sensuous way. I loved it and it led to some great DFK. I thought kissing this way was almost taboo among dancers, however earlier posts say thats its not that uncommon. Either way I enjoyed it and hope it happens again. Thanks for letting me share.

Dude, I heard some of this on the radio news today--I'm in Detroit on business. The regulations would require dancers to only work on stage, maintain 6' distance from customers and would make LDs illegal. This would mean dancers could not sit close to customers.
Is this just election year posturing? Or will this get through? How about other Detroiters, have you heard anything more?
BTW: I visited Penthouse and Playhouse on this trip. I'm very happy!

SuperDude you are correct that this is about the City of Detroit and not the burbs. Here's a link to the Detroit News where you can vote Yes or No on new regulations and post a comment. The voting results so far are strongly in favor of NOT regulating SCs. The people have spoken!

Excellent points, George. I'm nearly 60 and try to stay fit. I'm not buff by any means, but the girls seem to notice I'm in pretty good shape. And I believe that makes my experience better. As for staying power...at my age Viagra works well and I can get aroused quickly as to maximize my enhanced time with my dancer. The effect of the Viagra lingers for an hour or so and really helps for that second round.<br type="_moz" />

Nice article, JB. This kind of info is a good reminder for us that go to SCs regularly. But there are always newbies here that want to learn about the SC experience. So, writing about the basics now and then is a good thing for all of us. Well done.

Thanks for the excellent and accurate review of the Detroit SC scene. Detroit Metro's wide variety of clubs has something for everyone. You can visit a club and just chill or have great private LD sessions with full menus. Price vary by club but you can find some good deals with a little patience and experience with the market. But, as always, YMMV.

Clamheart, I agree that we older gents have a different and deeper appreciation of the female body than I did when I was younger. We also are experienced lovers and know how to treat and please a women who is in our arms and open to our advances. My favs have appreciated that. And my message to the young guys is: "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill".

Good advice and well written, DougS. I think those of us that are married or have a SO can use some of these tips in our own unique situations. We just have to be creative in our deception. As for all this being a lot of work, I only visit SCs about once per month while on business trips. This "prep" work builds anticipation and for me, is part of the game.
