Married guys--Why do you go to strip clubs?

Another thought: Do LDs and extras amount to an affair? Especially those that result in orgasm?

Drippy - I can not even begin to speculate why a guy would go to a SC, I am sure it varies from each individuals personal situation.....although I am glad you guys do go.

As far as LD's and extra amounting to an affair......i would think not unless it gets to the point where you are obsessed with it. I think it is possible to have an affair emotionally as well as physical. A one time shot at a SC would not be classified as an affair to me but if it continues over a extended period of time .......it could turn into that.

My wife does not know I visit SCs. She simply would not understand--its a long story.

i'm married, been that way for 3 decades. my wife knows about my "out for a beer" nights and doesn't make a big deal out of it if i don't. once in a while paybacks are hell, but what's fair is fair. i go to clubs for non-committal interactions with a variety of gorgeous women. something to do with spice and life, i suppose. maybe its the relatively innocuous stimulation on several levels all at once that appeals to me...but more generally clubs are where i go to lay low and blow off steam...not likely to run into any clients there (although i once ran into my daughters principal).

My wife of 39 years knows I have gone and she as gone with me, but she doesn't know all that can and does go on in the clubs, at times. I've even visited on club with her and my adult kids and friends of theirs. Not a big deal! Actually, visiting a beach these days is nearly the same.

There are many reasons why married guys & gals seek out stripclubs for fun and/or sexual stimulus. I'm very happy with my SO, but I enjoy a variety of women wiggling all over me from time to time. My SO is not aware of my shenanigans @ the clubs, and would not approve...so it's best she not know. That plan has been working nicely for the past 8 years!

My wife just wants a business relationship and due to female change of life issues has no interest in sex. I won't be celibate any more than I would eat garbage. I wish I had gone to SC many years ago as strip clubbing is a eye opening experience. Strippers are very understanding of a guy being married. The one I have taken as my mistress the last year or so is married herself. She is 27 and tells me she does not believe in monogamy. Even if I was happily married I would still go to stripclubs. Its always fun to get to enjoy some strange. Women want variety as much as men - this is a natural and normal human condiditon based on millions of years of human evolution. Our society's trying to deny this with restrictive laws against strip clubbing and prostitution is simply the exercise of a fools errand.

I believe SCs are the 'Disneyland' for the Married Man. Yes, we still need stimulation from the opposite sex, no matter how good or bad your marriage is. And what better way to get that stimulation? - I don't have the time or desire to develop a 'relationship' (never mind all the problems that can cause). At SCs, you get right to the point - naked beatiful women - You can speed date 4 or 5 girls in a matter of hours - no strings attached other that cash - and by virtue of keeping things ITC, you are staying within the 'rules' by definition.

I love my wife, do have sex but much less often than I'd like. Truth is, the passion of the first few years ain't there no more. I get bored and she is unwilling to do anything different sexually. SC's gets my blood going, as long as I don't go too often or get too attached I think it's morally equivalent to jacking off to porno. She doesn't like it & I do conceal it after we had a big dust-up over clubbing. It is selfish of me, but otherwise I am good to her and I can live with the duplicity.

We all go to strip clubs because we love naked women. Why else would a guy go? Other than to grease bouncers obviously.

Sometimes its just a way to try to survive while looking for a way to bring the marriage to a close.

But for some guys, they really don't see it as infidelity. They believe that because they are well-off, that cheating is a right, and then also, they divide women into two categories.

And then for some they just can't face it, they need either a marriage councilor or a divorce lawyer. Not so many of these dancing at strip clubs.

So what we need is to set up a fund, so that we can send some of these girls to school.

I go to strip clubs to meet hot women of negotiable virtue and have sex with them.

Back when I was married - I was sitting at a bar in midtown Manhattan waiting for a buddy to arrive. I ordered a beer - and was amazed at the high price. The guy next to me looks over and says "I expect to see some titties when I pay this price for a beer." I saw the wisdom in his words - and never looked back.

Of course - my marriage ended - in large part due to my club habit - so it's definitely cost me more than I saved on beer.

marriages don't end because of strip club attendance. Marriages end because of one or both of the person(s) involved in the marriage.

Frequent strip club attendance is just a symptom of something else. It could be that a guy is just unhappy with his wife for some reason or another. Or maybe the guy can't be faithful no matter how great his wife is and she finds out what he is doing. Whatever it is, strip clubs are not to blame. A guy who is in this position would likely have sought out other alternatives if strip clubs did not exist.

I could be married to a supermodel and I would still be out cheating. Men can cheat for the shear animal thrill, with no emotional attachment; women are just the opposite.
