Seems to me that if the girls are racheting it up it's largely because club management is allowing them to do so. As far back as I can remember I frequently encountered dancers who wanted to do more than the club would allow. The limiting factor was usually what the club allowed, not what the girl was willing to do. So maybe the biggest change is that many clubs now think they can allow more, which would indicate that legal enforcement has become more lax in many areas.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
"The site is not intended for male participation... I read and post over there ..." I'm confused, I thought Yoda was a guy.
"The ladies over their (there)... are not really looking for your opinion." Then why is there a section entitled "customer conversation" where the ladies ask questions of customers? Why are they asking questions of customers if they don't want our opinions?
"I don't have the time or the interest to listen to you guys whine about your miss-adventures on Stripperweb." So why is he or she doing so?

BG, I haven't had time to read your whole post yet but I can answer your first question, since some time ago I had much the same experience as you recently did. The concept is quite simple: all dancers are wonderful and can do no wrong, all customers are assholes (except for the ones who post there telling the dancers how wonderful they are) and pathetic losers. If you agree with that you'll do just fine. But if you disagree you'll get slammed. And if someone asks for a customer opinion, rest assured that they don't want it unless it agrees with the preceeding. It's actually kinda funny once you understand. I used to make an occasional post just to raise some hell but I got tired of it.

I haven't seen this trend because I only go to strip clubs, not bordellos. Some of you guys obviously do the opposite.
But I do think that O has it right about the ho-ification of America. TV, movies and the print media have glorified sex so much that it's apparently no longer taboo to most young people, it's become the in thing to do. Frankly I think that's sad.

As I've said many times here before, I have no interest in a stranger servicing me, either inside or outside of a club. I have even less interest in me servicing her.

O, that's a good rule. I've always been the same way. Not only in clubs but pretty much in the real world too. I almost never tell one person much about what another says because all it does is cause trouble. You just never know how some people are going to react, regardless of how innocuous you might think something is. Too many people always put the worst possible interpretation on anything that's said.

Casualguy, I've read about those substances fairly recently too, but I don't remember where. It could have been in "Men's Health" or "Men's Fitness" magazines, both of which often discuss supplements. You can probably search both on-line. It could also have been in a book that I recently read called "Younger Next Year" which had some discussion on supplements. Most likely it was in another recent book called "You The Owner's Manual" which had a lot of discussion on supplements. Both of these books have spawned web sites (youngernextyear.com and realage.com) where you can post questions like the ones you've asked. Let me know what you find out.
Count me among those who believe that supplements are essential to good health. Yes you can get everything you need from food, but you'd have to eat so much to do so that you'd have to do physical labor all day long to keep from gaining weight. Supplements are essential because most of us (1) don't get as much exercise as did our ancestors and (2) we eat too much processed food and a lot of the essential ingredients are removed by the processing. The human body wasn't meant to sit at a desk all day and eat processed food so we have to make adjustments, like supplements. But you already know that.

Many of us here seem to assume that all customers who go to strip clubs are there to find the most physically intimate private encounter that they can with a young pretty girl. I think that's because most people who post here seem to be looking for that, but I'm not sure how typical we are. There are clearly customers who aren't looking for that and there are clearly clubs that choose to cater to these customers.
I think you can group most clubs into three broad categories: those clubs that are catering to guys who are there for a private and physically-intimate encounter and are willing to pay for it; those that cater to guys who are there for a couple drinks and to watch girls dance on stage; and those clubs that try to do both but don't usually provide as much contact as the first category of places. There are clearly customers for all 3 types of places because there are many areas like Baltimore where all 3 types co-exist in close proximity to each other and all do pretty well. And there are clearly strippers who avoid the first type of place.

I like a strip club enouunter to be like a high school make-out session used to be when I was that age - lots of flirting and teasing and heavy breathing and some touching but no sex acts - in other words a very intimate encounter but not a sexual one.

You guys are forgetting something - there are many places out there (eg. Washington DC) where stage dancing is the only thing that's allowed. There are also lots of other places (eg. neighborhood bar-type places) where the clubs choose not to have anything else, and they do quite well because there are a lot of customers out there who have no interest in private dances. Such places will always exist.

I've never met either Billy or Frank in a strip club, nor do I want to. To me that takes the place out of the strip club category and puts it into brothel land. I prefer strip clubs where activity remains legal. I think the risk of encountering Billy or Frank goes way beyond STDs.

I've been to several membership clubs, a couple of which I really liked, but have never been asked for that kind of personal info. Usually the only info they ask for is a picture of Andrew Jackson or so and a name. The idea of having a private club actually works well in some areas where it allows a bit more freedom in what they can allow, which can be worth a few extra bucks on your first visit.

Any place that interests me.
To me an LD factory, and I may have originated the term, I've at least been using it for a very long time, is a club that emphasizes LDs and LDs are the main reason anyone goes there. Mons Venus is the obvious example. I don't think the other chracteristics listed by minnow are necessarily true. My ATF worked in an LD factory and they didn't have any of the 4 features that Minnow lists, it was just a little place where just about everyone who went there went to get LDs, it's what the place featured, and they were pretty good.
The one common element that I've observed in LD factories is that many and maybe most cutomers expect the girls to get them off, the girls are more than willing to accomodate them and they don't expect any additional tip for it. It's why the guys are there and everyone knows it. Which may be the one feature that separates an LD factory from other types of strip club.

I usually check my email once or twice a day. And when I'm online I'll usually stop by a couple of web sites too, this being one of them. There's usually not much time involved, it's just for entertainment. Obsession has nothing to do with it.

Somewhere I read that most people's definition is: when you read about a big layoff it's a sign of a weakening economy; when your neighbor gets laid off it's a recession; when you get laid off it's a depression. Let's face it, what happens with the nation statistics is largely irrelevant, it's what happens to you that matters. As long as you have a job you're going to keep going to strip clubs. So stop worrying about it.

AN, Choo Choo's is correct. It's a very hit or miss kind of place, depending on who's working. I used to especially like days there, the place can be practically empty other than the 4-5 girls working. There used to be a drop dead gorgeous girl named Angel who only ever worked day shift, don't know if she's still there or not. I haven't been there in several years but my ATF stopped by not too long ago (she has a couple of cousins who work there) and said there were some really attractive dancers working there that evening. Girls dance nude on stage. Private dances are $20 and pretty good but not great contact, depnding on the girl. Very laid back atmosphere, very little hustle. I was a regular there for about 2 years.

Truth be told, if a dancer regularly goes to a gym and stays (or gets) fit and she develops a positive and friendly attitude so that she's fun to be with, she's going to make good money no matter what her strategy or where she works. Being attractive and pleasant are the most important things by far.

AN, so you've been to Partners? How did you like it? Different isn't it? It's exactly the kind of little local place that I'm talking about, it's gota be a gold mine.
I understand how these little places make lots of money, they don't have any expenses. What I don't understand is how some of the big places do. Some of them must be fronts for something else because the economics don't make any sense.

In general I'm usually very satisfied with medium and no extras. But that's occasionally been modified slightly depending on (1) how much I like the girl and (2) how much I've had to drink.

David, you are exactly right. This entire discussion reminds me of a similar episode that I personally experienced many years ago. It took me a long time to realize that I had been a complete idiot. If you are going to participate in this hobby, you need to learn when to cut your losses and move on. It can be a painful lesson to learn, but if you aren't able to learn it you need to find another hobby.

I knew a stripper a long time ago who worked at it extremely hard and said she was investing most of what she made. Her plan was to keep stripping until she had a million dollars put away. She claimed to be half way there and I have no doubt that she made it. But she's the exception, few girls are likely to do that.
Casualguy, don't believe everything that you read or hear, bad news gets reported, good news doesn't. For example, if company a hires 50 people while company b lays 50 off, which makes the headlines in the paper? There are always shifts occurring in our economy, that's what makes it so strong. But only the bad news gets reported.

Part of the problem is that if several locals like a club and really give it high ratings, it's going to move up regardless of the fact that it may not be very good compared to places elsewhere. But the guys writing the reviews have no way of knowing that because they never go anywhere else. Which makes their reviews look phony.

David, if you're saying that a major result of government regulation is to restrict competition, I totally agree. Which is why groups like barbers and massage therapists lobby in favor of state licensing requirements. They pretend it's to protect the public but it's really to restrict competition and increase their earnings. Every trade tries to do it.
