My understanding is that Atlanta city law bans contact of any kind between customer and dancer. Thus, any contact that is occurring is illegal. However, laws vary from city to city and thus it is possible that one of the suburbs allows contact dancing. The best way would be to read the reviews on this site and see whether anybody has received a legal contact dance at any of the suburban clubs.

interesting...sounds like the one guy has a criminal past but info is coming out that he may not have been at the party when the alleged rape occurred

Newsweek has a cover story about the case--it is the May 1, 2006 issue. Both of the alleged rapists come from very wealthy backgrounds, of course. But it sounds like they may not be guilty after all!

Stay away from Can Can Room (major rip off) and Crazy Horse II (bouncers beating up patrons). Deja Vu and Little Darlings are the best nude clubs, and you can get in for free with a pass from the website. Olympic Garden, Rhino, and Cheetahs are the best topless clubs.

davids---I just thought the story was interesting---if you don't think it is then go do something else with your time and ignore this discussion. You seem to have a negative attitude about posts here.

Because they don't sell alcohol, the nude/ no alcohol places have to make up for it by charging a high cover charge. This makes me reluctant to attend. I don't blame them for having a high cover, but I hate having to pay more than $10 to get into a club.

to Shekitout---I actually did stop by Mons Venus in Tampa. When I found out the cover was $20, I didn't go in. Then I found out later that Mons is considered one of the top clubs in the U.S. I would have paid the $20 had I known that. I am still kicking myself for not going in.

Bluefield-Princeton, West Virginia--used to be four clubs, now only three, but an amazing number for an area of only 20,000 people----all nude, all alcohol, and girls will spread their legs wide open when nude and masturbate on stage (see my reviews)

Any place that interests me.
One thing that bothers me is that some reviewers give clubs low ratings for not having contact, when local laws prohibit the club from allowing contact. Thus, excellent clubs in no-contact cities like Washington and Atlanta are downgraded when in fact some of these clubs would rank among the best in the U.S. I don't understand why these reviewers even go to the clubs in the first place since the clubs don't allow contact. Why don't they just call and ask the clubs whether contact is allowed?

I would go back to 1999 in Tampa, FL. I stopped by Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey, but wouldn't pay the cover charges because I thought they were too high. I later found out that the clubs were considered two of the best in the nation, and have always regretted not going. Then the clubs started getting raided all the time by the local cops, and a lot of the pretty girls left. Oh well. I also was in Seattle and didn't stop by Rick's. I later found out it's one of the best in the U.S. I'm still kicking myself. I also never had a chance to go to a Vegas strip club---now new laws require girls at the topless clubs to be 21 or older---I wish I had gone when the hot young girls were working. Lots of regrets!!

I currently have to drive 50 miles each way to go to the closest strip club. That club is worth seeing, but the long drive is a hassle. There are two other clubs 45 miles away, but the cover charges are too high and therefore I have never attended. The largest college in Virginia is located in my home town and there is another major college close by. BUT THERE ARE NO STRIP CLUBS IN THE AREA. I would open one myself if I knew how to do it and if I had the money. I think a club would be very successful here. It's torture walking around and seeing all the young college girls and not having a strip club here. There would definitely be girls who would dance at one. So I keep waiting!!!!!!

I guess Rick's in Seattle--I'm kicking myslef for not going when I was there. But I would love to have a group meeting of TUSCL reviewers---any chance this could take place in the Baltimore/Washington area?

Gold and Silver, the one in Roanoke, VA, is OK---full nudity and the girls spread their legs apart on stage when nude---but the ones in the other parts of the state are more restricted---see my reviews of two clubs in VA Beach
