Dumb lecture. When a stripper interrupts things to tell me it's just a fantasy (duh), it kind of kills the fantasy for me. It's like when I see a play I don't want the actors to stop and tell the audience that they're all just playing a role.

If you believe that other people having multiple favorites tarnishes the sacred memory of your ATF, I can see why you could get so worked up about it, but grammatically you don't have a case to rest.

Some of you guys are goofy. I'm always hearing people talk about things like "one of the greatest hitters of all time" or "one of my all time favorite singers", and nobody says, "Hold on there. You can only have one. Adding an S to make it plural is not allowed." But you guys must have a freakin' seizure when you hear that.

It depends on the club and what kind of experience you're looking for. At every club I've been to more than a couple times, I've heard about customers who pay the bouncer or the manager to set them up with their kind of stripper. Usually, I hear it from a dancer who thought the customer was a total douche and didn't want anything to do with the bouncer arranging customers for her. Or so she told me. But it definitely happens. And I'm sure that some guys get what they're looking for that way. And that some staff derive a lot of income from it, like a sort of pimp. It's just not how I roll.

Language and meaning aren't always rational. Exaggeration, sarcasm, wordplay all can produce phrases that mean something other than the sum of their literal parts: "Like I care." "Like a boss." "Road warrior." English is full of idioms we use every day that are a lot more logically "wrong" than multiple ATFs. "I could care less" is just one of them. I had almost the same thing happen to me last year. When I went back a couple of months later, the manager who had kicked me out greeted me warmly, and the ROB who started it all approached me like she'd never seen me before. Another stripper there told me I could have come back the night after without any problems. Often, the bouncers and managers back the stripper in a dispute like that just to show support and allow her to save face. It's not necessarily about you.

An ATF is a stripper you're over-enthusiastic about or fixated on to the point of hyperbole. People who scold others for posting about having more than one ATF are taking this shit a bit too seriously.
