I've been bitten just about everywhere by now. I was beginning to feel like a chewtoy with some of the dancers that I encountered. I don't think I look like I'm into S&M, but for some reason I usually end up with biters.

I also prefer the hunt, and meeting new girls every visit. Trouble is that once you are a regular somewhere, there are bound to be girls who you chat up occasionally that decide you belong to them, and they proceed to plant themselves at your table for long periods of time. This in of itself is not necessarily a bad thing - but you can miss an opportunity to try out a newbie if chatty girl won't leave.I've had to take several loooooong hiatus from some of my fave clubs because of this phenomenon.

LOL - I was wondering when this topic would be addressed. I haven't been to a club in a week or two, but I'm planning on hitting my fave dive club tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if the threat of a pandemic will hurt SC business. Can you imagine entering a club and seeing everyone wearing surgical masks???

SW = stripperweb.com.
It's a large website for strippers to basically yap with each other about how pathetic us customers are. They also compare notes on other stripper-related topics. The website has two areas - the pink side is primarily for dancers, but there are a few spots where us custies can join in the discussion (here is where being a masochist helps). There is also a blue side (stripclubjunkie.com) primarily for customers, altho dancers often post there as well.
Enter SW at your own risk. The atmosphere is usually heavily charged with stripper attitude, but if you just read and not post on the pink side, you can pick up alot of info about how the ladies think and why they do the voodoo they do.

If you're a real masochist you can wander over to SW (pink side) and peek at the threads by dancers offering info on who they approach, who they don't, and why. Usually the threads start off OK, but eventually evolve into name calling between the dancers & PL's, and the threads are then closed. Such is life @ SW.

I generally tip often, especially with girls that consistently perform above & beyond the call of duty. The only time I don'tnever tip is if it is asked or begged for. More times than not the beggars gave lousy dances anyway. Then no dice.

I witnessed this recently during a club's dance special. When the dance prices were reduced from $30 to $20 for a few hours during an early bird special, no girls could be found. They all hid in the back. I should have known something was up when I arrived and there were very few customers there. All the other regulars must have known about the dancers aversion to dancing at a discount. It was so bad that I actually longed for a "wanna dance?" from ANYONE!

If you want to take the missus to a SC, Vegas is probably the best city to do it in. I've heard that Seamless is very plush & classy, and a place that would be comfortable for your average woman date. It also turns into an after-hours club after 4am.
It's funny, but the worst times I've ever had at SC's was when I went with a guy - it surely must have appeared to the dancer's that we were a couple, when in fact we were just buddies. Dancers tend to be very leery of couples, as Philip A. Stein pointed out. Nowadays I go alone, and don't have any of those "couples" issues. I know this isn't an option for most....I'm just sayin. :)

Nowadays I will ask for a phone number so that I can call her to find out if she is working when I'm headed to the club - a spur of the moment kind of thing. Many of these dancers are so flaky and never have set schedules, so it's nice to be able to call them to see if they are working. I try to discourage them from ever calling me, using the "I don't want my wife accidentally answering the phone" excuse.
The only time I encourage a dancer to call me is when we are setting up an OTC arrangement.Then you definitely need two-way communications.

The average price for a topless dance here in LA is $30. Nude dances can run to $40 per. Bikini dances range typically from $15 - $20. Thank goodness for 2fer's.

True, shadowcat - I have had the pleasure of meeting up with minnow several times. He pops into LA on occasion and I try to share with him the latest info on the clubs near LAX that I frequent. He is rather mild mannered, come to think of it...but then again I've never seen him in action in the VIP area!
I'd love to meet the dancer that you're referring to. Is she right for me because she likes girls, or is there another reason? Just curious.

I was thinking of telling my SO that I was gonna go pick up a few things at the market, then hop a plane & head over to the convention. But I'm guessing that she'll realize I'm missing after a few hours and proceed to kill me when I returned home.
Oh well...it was a thought.
One day I hope to actually meet some of you characters in person. I'm sure it would be a hoot.

It's just not as obvious with us women is all!
There have been more than a few times that I have gotten very physically aroused while getting lapdances from truly FUGLY dancers (the dances were a result of a lost wager). Although emotionally/intellectually I was miles away, my body responded in a most unexpected way. Surprised the hell outta me.

I've never run into a female attendant in the ladies room (thank goodness), but I did have just one encounter with the men's room troll.
I was out of gum and checking out the vending machine (conveniently located near the men's room). The bathroom attendant popped his head out & asked me what I needed. I told him, and he whisked me into the men's room to check out his selection of gum. Ew. Not a place I really wanted to be. The looks on the guys coming in & out was priceless. Anyways - after having to stand there and have the poor bored guy yap at me about everything under the sun, I selected my stick of gum. He proceeded to charge me $1 for the single slice...and then wanted a tip. I just wanted out so I gave him $2 and bolted out of there.
Now I ALWAYS check my gum supply before heading inside a club.

I love Target & Kmart. I shop at both chains on occasion.
My hatred of Walmart is largely due to their socially conservative based values (they'll cover up the covers of GQ or Maxim magazines, but go right down the next aisle and pick up your ultra violent movie DVD & your gun ammo!). What hypocrisy. The fact that they bump out mom & pop stores with their massive expansion & treat their employees like crap does't help either.I'm not a big labor union fan (sorry to you teamsters out there), but in the case of Walmart I would love to see them unionized. But then say goodbye to those low, low prices.
I swore that I would never set foot inside one and I haven't. They represent all that I despise.
Walmart.
