Slight rewind. So I copied and pasted the headline directly from the TMZ article. Left the all caps in because I didn't feel like taking the time to change it. Murder? Meh, murders happen all the time. College basketball player? Meh, maybe it's someone who was decent and I've heard of but they weren't good enough to go pro. I don't even watch college basketball because the execution is so sloppy.
"At Famous Tijuana Strip Club" in the headline? Obviously someone with wallanon as their TUSCL alter ego is going to find that interesting. Plus before the border situation changed I was there a lot. More trips than reviews. So I was thinking it's either Adelitas or Hong Kong, or whatever that big name place is that's there now but I've never been to.
So I read the article and it is Adelitas. I liked that place, wonder what went down? Holy moly, that's fucked up. This is even worse than a Florida 2AMer. Speaking of, I wonder if shadowcat's posted this already? Nope, shadow didn't post it. I'll just go ahead and post it then. There's so many TJ hounds around here someone's going to have something to add...

I read this a few times wondering what being a marine to someone's husband meant. Then I got you'd heard from the chicas he was an ex-marine or might've been the victim's husband. But then it turns out he also played basketball at some place called Rutgers that desertscrub has never heard of.

Stealthing seems like a really specific thing. Guy takes the rubber off and goes back in with out the ok. The other stuff is "shit happens". How many guys haven't had to play find the condom at least once in their life? But obviously if this becomes law some chick is gonna push the limits. The first time some guy's defense is the rubber came off in the puss that's called reasonable doubt.

Being a public figure comes with a cost. They have to manage that as part of the benefits they receive from their notoriety. Most people alive right now (nearly all) freely offer their thoughts to a world that's not asking for them. Social media gives them a platform. All over the Internet there's this rolling wave of discontent about an unlimited number of minor grievances. Millions of mountains grown from millions of mole hills.
If the this or that "culture" offends you, don't engage with it. None of you would cease to exist if you unplugged for a while. And the world will still be there when you're done with your time away.

I was a little underwhelmed by the halftime show, too. Not every year can be Shakira shaking her ass and JLo on a stripper pole. But the Weeknd did have his biggest hit last year, and if you stuck around and for the closer have probably heard that 80's style riff somewhere. From a Detroit News article:

A full strength Mahomes probably gets them closer, but the Chiefs just looked like their game plan didn't have it today. Plus the Tampa defense looked like the Giants vs Pats out there. If your offense can't get off quickly with that type of pressure it's tough to compete.

If you're talking about Candyland in Memphis that's a great call not to go. When I pulled up it was "closed", but there were still people walking in and out. It looked tiny and I'm thinking 90% of TUSCLers wouldn't like the vibe and over 50% wouldn't want to walk inside.
I'd already gone in "The Gentleman" in the middle of the hood and wondered if I'd make it the 10 feet from the front door to my rental car without a problem, so I just went on my way because I didn't have time to wait for the club to open. If it happened to be open I would've checked it out, but wouldn't recommend a trip there unless you're literally driving by anyway. And maybe not even then.
