Hi bdirect. This is a discussion forum, not a newsfeed.
I put something something out for discussion because the article was relevant to strip clubs and TJ is a topic of interest. Even to you it seems, based on threads you were posting in late 2019. Maybe that's why one of your rare on topic posts landed here. Thanks to a few helpful TUSCLers, it looks like there's some info to provide some insight into what actually happened. That's the point.
Fun facts: Since January of 2020 not one of the discussion threads you have started on TUSCL has been on topic. Nearly all of your comments have been off topic, with many of them simply bickering with others. Your account has been around since mid-2004. There are questions that naturally follow from this, but I don't care enough to ask them.

Most of you are right in your own way. The trolls are just being trolls, so it doesn't really matter either way for them. Obviously there is bad planning involved here, but what will be interesting to see is how hindsight helps (or doesn't help) the grid managers figure out how to truly have a resilient power infrastructure.

I only talk about the club layout in detail if there is something I found interesting/strange about it or it's not really covered elsewhere in recent reviews. If other people want to drop a lot of details on the decor in their reviews that's fine with me. Having a template is just going to be something else for lousy review writers to game and cause clutter.
If a review provides some information of value based on the reviewers experience, I'll upvote it. This whole kick about encyclopedic recall of club minutiae for reviewers to prove they were there is a little much from my perspective, as is listing every chick in the club because I'm going to make my own mind up anyway. Things that were particularly good or bad about the place, and best/worst chicks are what I'm looking for in the reviews if I'm deciding to visit or not.

Back when I had to care, I never had any of that shit active in the first place. And I'm not always on my phone to start with. That's half the problem is people setting an expectation they're accessible all the time. I'm just not.
What's the difference with 99% of what people have to say if it waits a few hours? That's how shit worked for all of human history until companies convinced people that they needed to be net-connected 24/7.

That's what I was thinking. Other people have already covered the manner of crime points to deeper motives, but if this guy carried a high profile in the club maybe that's part of it. Obviously his 15 minutes of fame was over in the US, but in TJ it doesn't take as much to live big. Right? Isn't that why there's a revolving door of mongers at the border?
No judging. I've been there and the supply is top notch just like gets raved about here, there, and everywhere. I'll admit that the past year has me reconsidering my overindulgence in the hobby, but that's a different thread.

Head skills are getting to be a lost art. To the question, keep it simple and just tell her. I usually just let her know while she's going at it. The great ones might have another gear they haven't shown you yet.

Hey TJ hounds, were any of you surprised the guy was able to murder a money earning chica on the floor of the club and get out if there without having an "accident"? Not diminishing the fact a girl was murdered. Obviously that's fucked up and I said that already. Never dealt with the management at Adelitas, but it seems like they handled it cleanly if the perp was handed off to the authorities.
Just seems like I can think of US clubs where a guy knifes the talent he's probably not making it out in one piece, so to me it was interesting the guy did that and seemingly walked away even if he was arrested. I've only read the one article so maybe he got pummeled and is handcuffed to a hospital bed. Just seemed like he got off easy causing problems like that in a Mexican border zone.

I might've had something this week that was like an unplanned, sort of Valentine's Day. There could've been someone who was a stripper involved. A good time was had by all, and a last minute babysitter made a killing.
