There's multiple clubs not far outside of DC that are decent. Showcase Theater is TUSCL acceptable across the board and only 20 minutes North of town. Fuego (if it's still open) and Ebony Inn are closer and have full contact but less of what the more vocal TUSCLers on the boards appreciate in dancers.
But Fuego had tons of Latinas back in the days when I went. I didn't much care for Fuego, but my friends did. Hanging around Texas way more than I ever expected has made me more of a fan of Latinas, so maybe I'd appreciate it more now. Eh, probably not. Sinsaysionals is about same distance, too, if it's still around.
There's another club I can't remember that opened around the corner from Showcase that's supposed to be good, but the address I had was off and I couldn't find it when I drove around after leaving Showcase. I wasn't trying that hard because it was already late, but apparently it's on the backside of the block the GPS takes you to.

This time I think my memory is a little better. Haven't multiple TUSCLers said there are some clubs outside of downtown Chicago that offered plenty of mileage at decent rates? Maybe it's not with girls the majority on the boards would go with, but I might go looking around for the mentions. That was all pre-COVID. Last time I stayed in Chicago I was in the middle of downtown and really busy so didn't do any clubs. But I might've if I'd seen the details on the clubs I'm vaguely remembering now.

When I went through Memphis a few years back, several of the clubs are what TUSCLers would call black clubs. But I went to the ones closer into downtown because I chose based on location and not reviews.

I've only been to Oahu, but Hawaii wasn't as bad as advertised. If you're not up on your club fu you will get abused and taken for a tourist, so there might be something to all the horror stories.

Other than Follies I didn't think ATL had outstanding clubs. There were several good clubs, but if Follies wasn't there I'd travel through a different town because the only place I like driving in less is Los Angeles.

I don't think you can put another US town over Detroit for the strip club scene until it's completely ruined. It's the last of the great club towns.
Now I haven't seen Miami. The two times I was supposed to go work or COVID got in the way. Same with Dallas. But the talk about Miami always struck me as peak Vegas or NOLA, where there's a lot of talent and hype but you're paying through the nose to get at it. I'm a little done with clubs as events, and just want a town that's got clubs you want to unwind in with hot chicks.
Post COVID I'm going to throw Austin, TX up there because it's open and operating about like normal. It's got good local talent but also has a large college population to draw from, and some decent travel dancer traffic for now. And you can get whatever you want, YMMV. I'm not traveling much these days, so whatever else you guys come up with is fine by me.

I think there's a point where anything below a certain line is basically a tie. To me that line is look but don't touch. I'm not looking for a burlesque show. I'm looking to get up close and personal with a hot chick to pass the time. At least I did. I still don't think I've been in a club yet this year.
If I can pay and touch, then it's up to me if I don't want to pay Manhattan prices. A place like Augusta, GA where dancers had to stay on little stages during "private" dances even before the covidverse. Places like that are in the strip club basement on my list.

Or sometimes a fight is just a fight. Sucks for the guy who died, but you never know what can happen. Even guys who know they're doing can slip and fall the wrong way and crack their head on something in close quarters.

Short answer is yes. Most clubs are small businesses susceptible to local trends. Lots of variance across the country and world in response to the pandemic. Clubs that were most vulnerable are already gone. The rest is still TBD.

It all runs together, but something that was probably funny to someone else was last year at Landing Strip in Austin, TX. If you've ever been there then you know there's a kinda sorta VIP level by the entrance with little booths that line the walls of a little raised area. They are open to the club and not private at all. It was not that long after the reopen and they weren't doing floor dances, but you could get dances in the front or back VIP areas.
So all that random info leads to me sitting in a booth that I thought was ok because I could see the stages clearly and get the attention of dancers and club staff if I wanted something. Some guy comes in and sits the next booth over. Starts getting dances. No big deal. After about a song he starts getting really into it. Really, really into it. And gets louder and louder and louder. So I take out my phone and try to look busy while this guy is getting so loud his moaning is louder than the music. Loud.
At one point I glance up and people sitting at some nearby tables aren't looking at him. They're looking at me like "WTF don't your hear that?". I give the slightest of shrugs and go back to what I'm doing on my phone. I'm not giving up prime real estate just because some dude doesn't know how to cum without wailing like he's passing a kidney stone.

Girls/people are rated on hotness. I don't always get dances. The club gets rated on vibe, which to me is appearance, quality of the entertainment (dancers, waitstaff, DJ, whatever), and how well the place is run. Value/price is whether or not I left feeling like the money was worth dishing out. It doesn't need to be a bargain, but it needs to better than sitting at home watching porn. Mileage is one of the factors I put in there. The categories keep getting renamed, but I try to stay consistent. If I start doing reviews again I want review 500 to sit beside review 50 and have the numbers be comparable.

I've only been to a handful of clubs where the doorman or valet waved me off from a bad visit. They make an easy 10 or 20 bucks and I save myself from a waste of time. In those cases the reviews were trash and the club was in between better venues, but sometimes a so bad it's good visit has a better payoff then yet another VIP notch with middling talent.

VIP dances not being better is the exception not the rule in most places I've been. Not always that much better, but usually better. Dancers who are on the level will say something like "the dances aren't any better in back" if they're not in the mood to play ball.

A few places didn't want to let me in because of what was wearing, but I usually have extra clothes so that's an easy fix. Hundreds of clubs in random places and there's going to be something. Sometimes it's a collar. Sometimes it's pants. Sometimes it's a hat. If a club ever said the issue was clothes, that really was the issue in my experience.

Private Dances in my area are still $20 a pop on the floor and in VIP, and YMWV all over the place. If you don't have to pay a VIP upcharge, it's like the gift that keeps on giving. Some of the girls around Austin, TX were trying to bump up VIP dances to $30 or $40 a song, and those were the dancers that didn't get picked because there were so many options. The Dell mazillionaires can keep them fed. When my local clubs reopened again I just stopped going because the hustle was so high. I get that this whole situation hinges on where you club, but that's that the situation where I'm at. I'm turning down jackpots whenever I walk in a club now because every dancer I say yes to today is another dancer I'll have to take a pass on tomorrow. If you're spending money ITC right now you can't blend in. I've backed off clubs just because the dancers are so hungry it's not fun anymore, and I need the ranks of girls who recognize me to thin out.

I dunno if I'd go with it being a "repulsive" ass. But it's impractical. Not sure how well it'd work for lapdances, especially if it's fake. I also prefer more tits on women. But she's cute. I'd bend that over and help her out with the prayers.
