Ferdnix - I too thought it could have been AI generated, I ran it through an AI text detector and it came back human. I caught the reference to Landing Strip and decided to pass on rating the review.

The only game in town, but expensive and nowhere near worth it
Techman -Yes, topless private dances. There are no table dances. Dances are all in the booths at $60, and as I said above, not worth it.

Not bad but not good
For what it is worth, Cheetah’s is as good as it gets in San Diego. There isn’t a lot there except promises.

Alternative city?
My choice from a strip club and sunshine viewpoint would be Phoenix, if you include Tucson for a day or two, which is a better strip club city than Phoenix. I don’t gamble, so I can’t comment on that, but there are casinos there, some which appear to be rather elaborate. Between Tucson and Phoenix, there are lots of tourist attractions, and, if you want a taste of winter, Flagstaff is only two hours north. I don’t recommend San Diego, even though it has sunshine and tourist attractions. The strip club scene is pretty bland and subject to oppressive city regulations. Tijuana is not far away and has strip clubs that are essentially brothels. Crossing the border can be straight forward or a hassle depending on a lot of factors, few of which you have control of. New York, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, and Seattle are not what one calls sunshine cities. Neither is San Francisco, even in the summer, and clubbing is expensive. New York strip clubs are expensive; Washington and Boston strip clubs are bland. New Orleans is expensive and the strip clubs, and like much of the city, promise more than they can deliver. Atlanta can be a good strip club city, but one needs to pick and choose the club carefully. If you like Black dancers it is probably one of the best destinations of those you list. I have not been to Savannah, so I can’t comment on that city. Orlando, at least the touristy part, is not a strip club destination. Cocoa Beach, not far away is pretty good though, but I think there only two clubs there. Dallas is not bad strip club wise and there are lots of options. It can be wet and cold in the winter though and I can’t think of any great tourist attractions. There are others on the list that should chime in; Shadowcat knows the southern clubs probably better than anyone.

Well, at least they didn't ask for $20 floor dances....
Hank Moody - I think the paragraphs are there, but the double line spacing between them or indentation at the beginning is missing. The line spacing may be a formatting interaction between the OP’s browser and the TUSCL text input. I have had similar, but not identical issues in the past. But, clearly delineated paragraphs certainly make a review easier to read and comprehend.

Pleasant afternoon, but pricier than I thought.
They scan IDs. I am told that if there are no problems, they dump the scans after a couple days. Before Covid there were $10 table dances, which were good value, but now it is only VIP dances for $25 and Champagne room for $275 for half hour.

Writing A Strip Club Review
You really can’t go wrong following Founder’s guidelines, although some (but not me) may disagree with his take on explicit descriptions of dances. His guidelines summary is pretty good: “Pro Tip 1: Think about what you would like to tell your good buddy about a place he's never been to. Pro Tip 2: Think about the business traveler that is sitting in his hotel room with only time enough to hit one club in this new town. Let him know why he should or should not visit.”

DEBATE TOPIC: *ANY* Use of Dancer Names in a Review
As dancers are part of the strip club experience, it seems to me that naming them in a review is OK, at least in a general way. Tying them to explicit details of dances, particularly if those involve prohibited activities, is not a good idea. But I see nothing wrong with saying that dancers A, B, and C gave great dances, dancers D and E gave good, but not great dances, and that dancer F gave a mediocre dance. It is part of the experience that is being reviewed. It seems to me that many of these types of review discussions are already addressed in Founder’s review guidelines. In particular: “ Be honest. You can go into explicit detail of the private dances. Just be careful with names if you think it may get someone in trouble.”

Golden Age of TUSCL
I joined in 2004, after lurking for a bit. I have pretty much limited my participation during that time to reviews and a few articles; pretty much avoiding the discussion forums and the politics and conflict inherent there. TUSCL pretty much rises and follows the path the strip clubs take, when clubbing is good, TUSCL is good, when the strip club scene is down, so is TUSCL. And when TUSCL is down, there is more extraneous stuff posted. I have largely survived TUSCL over the years by avoiding the non strip club content. That gives me a low profile, but it does help me retain my sanity, and, I hope, gives me some credibility when it comes to my reviews. Having said all that, I am retired and have less opportunity to get to strip clubs, so that, and COVID, have limited my recent contributions to TUSCL.

SOUND OFF – The State of U.S. SCs and the International Sex Scene
Try Tucson; Raider’s Reef or Venom are good, you can get what you want from some, but not all, dancers and the prices are reasonable. Curves is up there too, but more expensive and more dancers with GPS. Phoenix is good too, but more expensive and not as many dancers are willing, but you can have lots of fun. But go to Tucson first. El Paso used to be a sure thing at most of the clubs, but the scene has changed over the past few years. Still, from what I hear, Red Parrot is pretty good for what you are looking for. TD’s in Albuquerque is good too, but the dancers favor regulars for extras, and the VIP dances are tamer than they used to be, driving one to the Champagne Room, which is much more expensive. Let us know how your adventures go.

I'm fine. I'm disgusted with my life and myself, but I'm not unhappy about that.
How many ‘Top 40’ TUSCL clubs have you been to?
I guess I don’t get around as much as I should, and don’t have the cash these days to do much if I did, but: Best - 3 Worst - 3 Value - 3 Only slightly better than Motörhead, so I don’t think he should be kicked out. In my opinion, the value list is the most representative of the three lists.

Tucson is underrated as a strip club destination. It is good good for at least two or three days of a strip club crawl, Raiders Reef, Venom, & Curves all offer what you are looking for, and Phoenix, up the road an hour and a half, offers another couple of clubs. Just don’t go during the summer.

Not really Fancy but definitely fun.
Here are Founder’s TUSCL guidelines with regard to explicit dances and dancers who give them: “ Be honest. You can go into explicit detail of the private dances. Just be careful with names if you think it may get someone in trouble.” Knowing what I do about Fancy,s and OKC law enforcement, I think the review meets the guidelines. I understand why some may think it does not, though.
