Well, at least they didn't ask for $20 floor dances....

Had opportunity to visit on a slow day shift, so went in for a look. Don't know why I can't remember to close my eyes as I'm walking in so as to not be immediately blinded by the dark! Domestic beer was $3 and cold. As my eyes adjusted, picked out at least 10 dancers and maybe half that many customers, pretty much as expected.

Sat at the bar and chatted some with the bartender, and was soon visiting with a fairly attractive brunette who caressed my chest and shoulders as we talked. She had an easy freindly vibe about her, not pushy at all, so we took a table waiting for the next song for a dance. Song begins, she stands and faces me then leans down and says her floor dances are $25, is that OK? No. I countered with $15, because she was pleasant, and when she shook her head no I re-crossed my legs and held her gaze. She relented and said she would work with me. One fair but lackluster dance later, I paid her the $15 and thanked her for her time.

Was considering going back to the barstool when a cute AA sat down and started chatting. She literally led with asking if I ever did private dances "here or outside", so at least that was understood. We talked for two songs, but it was more of an interview vibe than warm. She finally asked if I was ready for a dance, and said her floor dances were, of course, also $25, but we could do 4 VIP dances for $100.

Yes, she was attractive enough, yes, I felt like a good time could be had, and yes, it was empty-slow enough I felt we would have privacy. But, the inflated pricing and 4-VIP dance minimum finished killing it for me so I said thank you but no. Naturally, she then asked if I wanted to tip her for her time? Tempting, but I again declined.

On the positive side, both dancers clearly stated their pricing strategy upfront, rather than trying to screw me for it after a couple dances. Appreciated. But on a slow Sunday afternoon, for them both to lead with $25 for floor dances resulted in my keeping my $ and walking out the door.
