Tropical Lei in Upland, Ca might be roughly equivalent to what it was before 2020.
Although I recall it being more crowded before 2020 in terms of dancers and customers, the girls looked decent on my last visit a few weeks ago. Definitely fewer customers than I recall. Service wise it seemed the same, prices being the breaking point now. Not availability.

My experience is that you will pay a bit more upfront. Travel costs, drivers, and the company's profit margin will drive that up.
I have come across some girls who also tru to double the price once they arrive, claiming the ad only showed the price charged by the company.
I pretty much won't go with a stripper service company anymore unless there is just absolutely no chance of anything else.
Widen your search radius for clubs. I feel like the Fresno region should have more.

Since you're a fairly well known face, if not friendly with the staff, you should ask them what happened to all the regular girls.
Sometimes the back office drama impacts the girls performance.

Could be a case of Cartel A discovering it's dirty cops were double dipping by working for Cartel B. Both Cartels would need to clean out the disloyal cops. That makes the violence a little more likely to stay inside the group. If that's the situation.

I don't know Tucson well enough to know the whole scene. But it sounds like they have a large number of the clubs under their control.
Maybe you guys that know the area could put together a list of options in an article format for those who don't want to be involved with this owner.

Blackmail in that context would probably be a threat to go to law enforcement and report the girl. If the club calls the cops, the club owner just says "We were reviewing our security cameras and saw Girl X, doing blah, blah, blah. We of course want no unlawful activity in our club."
That would go a long way to keeping the club owner out of jail. If they get called out by the girl, they just plead ignorance and say "we called you when we saw something. We didn't know about this other stuff, but here, take all our video."

Given the fundamental legal differences between the US and Europe/Mexico I'm not sure it's reasonable to pit German and Mexican clubs on the same list as US clubs.

My rule of thumb in VIPs is, once I know you aren't going to keep your end of the deal I don't hand over another dime. Normally, I don't even negotiate. At most I'll hang out for the time I've already paid for, but not even always that.
I so dislike this behavior that I don't even want to be in the room with the person. I've walked out on more than one occasion. I usually leave the club after that. My assumption is she will be talking trash about me to the other dancers so I just roll on to somewhere else.

You were about 15 miles south of LA. But really, that's a nit pick. Across the region some club managers have tightly controlled dance price list and other places the managers let them ask for what they want.
TJ's has always been a place that could be hit or miss. As you learned, you need to know what expectations both of you have before you head back. The nice thing about TJ's is you can have an honest conversation up front and it's never been a big deal that I have experienced.
If you get back to Orange County (that's where you actually were) look at the Sahara Theater in Anaheim. READ the reviews for that place first. The pricing structure is different but I think you will like it.

Lady in CA did much the same but died. She was in a hurry to drop off donations in a clothing bin. Must have dropped her phone in by accident.
The bin has a lever that opens and closes the lid (were talking an almost 6 foot tall bin). She got up on a chair to reach in for the phone and must have let go of the handle or something. The lid essentially hung her.

Also amend "attractive" to clean. Especially smelling good. A lot of people walk in there after the work day and smelling like it. Women are more scent oriented than men.

I think it is club and state dependent. The interaction of club policy and state law is probably a big factor.
I'm a fan of it, but it's rare. I've also been fortunate that it was never a 3 who tried it.

When I visited the Bear Den in Magna, Utah this spring, I definitely saw a lot of locals who were clearly just hanging out with friends for a beer. I only stopped by twice. But it seemed to be that vibe for a table or two of people each time I went.
