@FLAP300 yes I do think there’s some spillover into that territory of ‘I want to see you because I want to see you,’ but it’s not everyone, and honestly for those that do seem that way I am doing my best not to delude myself. Whatever chemistry is there doesn’t change the fact that they want something out of me the same as I want something out of them. Ultimately things would fizzle out without that payoff, and that’s what distinguishes it from the dating scene to me. That said, I haven’t dated (in the traditional sense) for a long time now. I really don’t know what the scene is like these days.

@wildrover I have no doubt that one can have success with your approach. This article is about increasing those odds for success. And not to be flippant, please let the board know when simply not being an asshole and tipping well results in free takeout

I agree the CR has slowed, at least during the afternoon which is when I normally visit. Now they have a CR leader board to help incentivize the dancers, I suspect due to the slowdown. For me the LD price hike just means I dance the same amount as usual but tip less. I tipped huge before so it’s balancing out. My regulars don’t mind and I spend more on them OTC anyway.

Sounds like quite a bit of overhead and time investment - too much for me. But this is a novel approach, and I’m more curious than anything else. How do you choose pen pals? Are you taking a guess regarding age/appearance/time remaining? Seems like it would be a crap-shoot.
