I get turned off by the dancer that keeps telling you how popular she is, how many regulars she has, how she's one of the most popular dancers there, how her customers overwhelmingly prefer her, etc. It's like she thinks she's doing you a favor by sitting with your PL-ass and taking your money.

Everything already said, I would just add one thing - I like to make sure she is unarmed. While we're sharing drinks and chatting I like to surreptitiously pat her down, maybe sneak a look into her Crown Royal stripper bag, and make sure she's not carrying a boxcutter or other weapon. Can't be too careful, you know.

I wasn't there myself, but heard about it from a dancer friend - there was this dancer, let's call her Bridget, who tried to attack a customer with a box-cutter. I guess it was pretty scary, took two bouncers to pull her off the poor guy, all the time she's yelling "I'll cut you, you PL, I'll cut you!" Anyway, she calmed down and it was all over when the cops showed up. They confiscated her boxcutter and made her leave the club. My dancer friend said as they cops led her out, she could hear Bridget telling them how she's not really aggressive, how she was one of the most popular dancers in the club, and asking if they wanted her number.

Hey guys, just wanted to give you a quick update (especially for everybody that was worried about my personal safety). I returned to the club last night, keeping my head on a swivel, and my body loose, ready to use the Delta Force self defense moves Vince Michaels shared with me (thanks, buddy!), but everything was cool. Bridget came up to my table and started to apologize profusely. She said she was sorry for acting like a brat and yelling at me and for any drama I felt, that she was not really aggressive, but she just felt embarrassed and uncomfortable when I turned her down because she's one of the most popular dancers there, her customers overwhelmingly prefer her, blah, blah, blah... I was thinking to myself, "Right. Whatever," but I just kept smiling and nodding. Then she offered me a free (air) dance, to show there were no hard feelings. I was trying to think how I could politey decline without causing another scene (What Would Subraman Do?) when another customer walked in. He stood just inside the entrance and nervously scanned the room. When he looked over in our direction, he froze, and got this deer in the headlights look. Then he turned away and put his open hand next to his face like he was trying to hide or something. Anyway, guess he wasn't fast enough, because Bridget said, "Oh, there's one of my regulars, I need to snag him before one of these other bitches grabs him." I breathed a sign of relief, and when on to enjoy the rest of my visit. Funny thing, tho, when I finally left the club, and went to my car in the parking lot, someone had slashed my tires :(
