I have not been there in over 15 years and as theeosu stated not intending any future visits. That strip of st. clair from about E18th for quite a few miles east has gotten very rough in the last ten years or so, with a few gangs competing for the area. Even the Downtown Crazy Horse has had a shooting or two in its parking lot.

Dougstar, I have two suggestions for you.
1) if you believe vincemichaels posts shows him to be a pedophile, put all the documents together and send them to law enforcement. Take a proactive step to ensure the safety of minors. Driving him off or banning him from the site may make you feel like you did something, but it only it is only a superficial feel good measure lacking backbone.
2) you don't like the way Founder is running his private enterprise, start your own site and run it the way you want it run.
Ranting and raving ad nauseam without a satisfying or desired outcome serves no purpose other than making yourself feel better about not being willing to do what you know is right but might be uncomfortable and challenging. It is the easy way to convince yourself of your moral superiority while taking no truly proactive measures.
I have neither the time or inclination to read though all the post to develop a opinion about him either way, but since you have done all the leg work, the ball is in your court as to how you act on what you have surmised from your research.

Eve - 30 or 40 years ago I think it was more common. There was a juice bar (18 and older) my friends and I would go to while in high school and every once in a while you would run into a girl from school or a neighboring school (mostly an all girls Catholic school) that was a grade or two younger than us. Biker/dive/blue collar SCs back in the day just did not care and the payola to local LE and politicians was more rampant then as well.
anti corruptions laws being enforced and the moral majority movement imo has ended that for the most part.

I ran into a buddy there that night she was working and both of thought we could remember what she looked like but were occupied with dancers we knew and did not pay any attention to the new girls, until the commotion of the stolen boots spilled out from the locker room.

twentyfive ----I have a different line I use, mainly because I hang out at a lower class of clubs, and have had the experiences of the dancers finding it "charming and funny" that all we did was hang out and I bought drinks for hours for them on slow nights.

I put myself though school working in bars..... if you can pull a bartender or waitress, you have game. It easier to get a dancer to date you in RL than a bartender or waitress. Peter - the more you tip the more you are seen as a customer, waitress view you as a paycheck same as a dancer.

To go along with the shittiest SC thread --- Pinky's in Cleveland.- right before they closed the doors for good.
I pulled into the parking lot behind a Chevy P/U and as the guy was backing into a parking spot, a guy comes around the corner with a gun shooting behind him. A few seconds later a stripper in heels and only a t-bar comes around the corner shooting at the guy. LE must have been setting up an operation on the place because out of no where..... a couple of set of blue and red light from unmarked cars come on and the cop take the guy down on the hood of the pick-up with the guys gun pointing at the driver and take the girl down on the parking lot surface. The look on the pick-up drivers face as the male shooter was thrown on his hood, gun in hand was pure terror.
I was able to not have to give a statement to the police but the guy in the truck was not so lucky. I beat it out of there and never did find out what was the cause on the gun play. Never went back either.
The only bright side to that shit hole was it was open latter (24 hrs I think from Thurs to Sunday morning) than other clubs because it was a juice bar and all the GPS dancers that did not make their nut at the nicer clubs would show up around 3 am Friday and Saturday, the dancers that would not give you the time of day at the nicer clubs would be a great service for 25% of the cost at the nicer clubs.

etsutwigg --- doing acts of random kindness is a good thing. Buying the necessities and not throwing cash at the problem was a act of kindness she might remember and if she is ever in a position to help an other out she just might. Being human to an other person down on their luck is not being a Captain Save-a-Ho, unless you wanted to take her away from her problems and marry her.

warhawks -- there was an Old Soldiers and Sailors Home by where I went to high school and one of the WW I sailor would make a break for it every once in a while to go see half naked women. If my buddies or I saw him walking, we would pick him up and take him to the local biker bar SC where they would let us in as long as you "looked" old enough and buy him a $5 dance, get him a shot and a beer and then take him back to the Veterans home. I had not thought about that in over 35 or 40 years.... thanks for jogging my memory, he had great stories.

Rick-- I've known this dancer since she was 18 and she is not smart enough when I knew her, unless the guy was a real sap to run that level of scam. After her failed attempt at porn she came back with an alcohol and coke problem, she would blow you on the floor of the SC after two drinks and a promise to buy her a third. Three drinks was overpaying, there was a reason she never made it in the movies. I had not seen her in maybe 8-10 years so she could have wised up, kicked the booze and coke and started honing her skills.
