I find it amazing that so many PLs believe a single-song, topless-only lapdance can be considered "value" at $30 per. I realize pricing in some markets is abnormally high, due in part to the local cost of living, but local regulars usually realize this and leave paying high prices for low/no return to the amateurs.

Especiallly over the long term, the new whore shine isn't nearly as important as that fresh pussy scent.

Who the fuck is Ninabambina?
@Nina, two questions to add :
- How many PLs from here have you met IRL?
- Do you get more enjoyment from the PLs that fawn over you on the forum, or by taking out some aggression dressing down the ones that try to insult you?

Agreed on the lack of perfect correlation between dance skills and bedroom (or VIP) ability. There's obviously some overlap between the two, but IMHO each involves a set of skills that require a mix of natural ability (and assets) and refinement through practice.
To use a baseball metaphor, a rookie with a 100 mph fastball can strike out a decent percentage of batters but has to develop another couple of pitches to qualify for the majors.

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
Hadn't kept up with her lately, but always knew she had fantastic potential. The breast reduction seems to have gotten her back into 'normal' proportions, and as those photos document the rest of her is doing better than alright. Another case of Hollywood putting glasses on a "nerd" character and pretending no one would notice she's still smoking hot.

@flagooner I stand corrected, Kim was the daughter played by Cuthbert. But I still think the stage name is a 24 reference (making the same mistake I did).
@alterego Not sure about the resemblance on Sarah Blue - seems like she's had quite a varied look over her career though. In the younger and blonder days I could see a passing similarity, but not as strikingkly close as Ms. Foster.

layin low but staying high
You know you've got an ugly stripper when...
... when it gets a look at her, not even the brass pole can stay up.
... when her stage set starts, the DJ just yells "Sooeeeeeeee!"
... halfway through a shift at Follies, she's complaining that she hasn't gotten laid today.
... she asks if you'd be interested in her "take out menu" and you tell her you just went on a hunger strike.

Guess NASCAR will be on more screens next Sunday at the club, then?
Seriously though, I don't see this having a significant impact on clubbing (or in the long term, on the NFL itself).

Agree that she's hot, though not in my all-time top 10. For those not already aware, she has a porn doppelgagnger whose stage name is obviously a reference to the 24 character that first made Elisha a household name:

There's a very specific calculus involved:
(PL's looks {1-10 scale} / Dancer's Age) × (Perceived chance of selling PL on VIP / Perceived chance of having PL's fingers in an unwanted orifice) × (Number of days rent is past due / Number of customers in the club)

@maho (et al) - consider this a retraction, I was conflating recent reports from Legends (where the curtains are gone) and the speculation - but so far only that - curtains would come down at Penthouse also. Most recent intel indicates the curtains at Penthouse *are* still there.

Agreed that Shailynn's guide is due due for an update. For example, Penthouse has recently had to remove the curtains in their VIP area (private VIP reportedly still available @ Coliseum).
I'd say at least 3 days are needed to get a "representative sample" of the greater metro club experience. As others have noted, day shift/night shift and weekday/weekend vibes differ and you can plan ahead to optimize your experiences.
I'd say you have to do at least one "Hamilton" club (Bogarts, Henry VIII) to earn the Detroit PL merit badge.

Don't mind @desertscrub, he trolla this board constantly with allegations that a review is a club ad.
In fairness, I would agree with his questioning a 10 rating for the club given your comments, although my understanding is that number gas more to do with the physical facilities than the level of contact allowed.
Still, giving any ckub a high rating just because it's the best of several bad options in a local market defeats the purpose of the rating scale.

Sorry your visit didn't live up to expectations. As was mentioned in your discussion thread, the 10pm lineup may have been discontinued (I know at one time they would sometimes change the timing and/or do more than one per night).
Also didn't consider the crowds you'd be seeing on a Saturday night (generally my least-preferred time to visit any club).

I'm not sure exactly how it's set up (bonus payment vs break on house fees, etc.) but I've heard from multiple sources that there is a financial incentive for the dancers to walk around nude - aside from the obvious increase in odds of selling dances.

@Joewebber - thanks for the breakdown on the GG crew. With respect to the day shift comment, please see the first line of my 2nd paragraph - it's a fundamental, for sure.
@Dawgpound7878 - Brooke is one of the group, I believe that's her real name (the ones Joewebber listed are stage names).

@Papi_Chulo - praise from Caesar, sir. ☺
To the folks asking about the Griffin girls, I believe Goldmonger's advice covers the description fairly well (including at least one brunette in the mix). Not sure how widely known their hometown moniker is among other dancers/staff, so starting conversations with the slim young blondes seems like rhe best approach (no downside if you run into a gal in that category from someplace else).
@Biksil, you may have to be lucky to get any of the crew there on one specific Monday, but the GGs are by no means the only attractive and high-performance options available.

My understanding is that the buffet never gets replenished, regardless of the day or how quickly it's consumed. For the record, the food isn't worth anyone rushing to get there early (better cause would be beating the cover charge starting at 7pm). If you want a meal ask for a menu, OGE has a surprisingly decent kitchen.

I recognize a couple of the names you listed as standouts, but multiple 9s on day shift at Bogey's would be completely unheard of. Any chance you could clarify how the names and number you noted correspond? I'm curious how much difference there might be in our respective scales (e.g.is your "9" the same as mine). If this wasn't a fluke I may need to see this for myself.

As of my last visit the VIP fee is still "pay $10 once good for all sessions in the same visit." I think that's PHound intended to describe but can see how the phrase "onetime per entrance" may have confused the issue.
Agree 100% on BT's "per session" fee being a good way to lose business (esp. when the fee is $20 to begin with).
