GPS = Golden Pussy Syndrome (so technically it's redundant to say 'GPS syndrome,' much like 'ATM machine'). Haven't checked this club out since the mass shutdown of Sandy Springs clubs and their neighbor Rileys. What's the rate these days for VIP? Is it still in those glass block cubicles?

Thanks. I actually mentioned the street parking alternative (had to re-read to make sure I didn't edit it out for some reason!). As a general rule I'll usually self park if it's an option.

You are not getting my point, or the purpose of this website for that matter. It isn't a personal issue, it's the economics of the system: If you consistently pay 25% above the established price for what would be considered by most customers as the minimum basic service, you are deliberately inflating prices for everyone.
It's not about being a "cheapskate" - nobody accuses you of being cheap for paying standard market prices.
As I suggested in the first comment you obviously didn't understand, if you insist on paying more for what your skewed perception thinks is "premium" quality (dancer looks or dance service), then making it a tip satisfies your need without fucking up the price structure by rewarding GPS.
But if that's how you want to piss away your money, it's entirely within your rights to be a fool.

Either this is an elaborate (and poorly constructed) shill review, or you, sir, are willfully and foolishly contributing to GPS and general price inflation.
It's fine if you don't want to do "extras," but why agree to pay more than a standard rate just for a "good" dance? That's what is supposed to be the baseline service!
Do you walk into a steakhouse, order your cut of choice medium rare, and agree to tack on 25% to the price because the chef "cooks it to order"?
If you *must* throw additional money at a dancer - and "she was hot and gave me a decent dance" should never be sufficient reason in itself to do that - then for the sake of every other customer that prefers not to piss their money away, please only do so as a tip *after* your dances, **NOT** as an artificially jacked-up base price.
Bottom line, you got ROB'd and you don't seem to even recognize it.

I'm guessing the dancer who wanted you to be her boyfriend has a stage name starting with "D"? If so she's a great talker but reportedly not so impressive in VIP (YMMV).

Just to clarify, unless there's been another remodel recently there isn't a true "VIP" area at TT that doesn't have a curtain or a door. The pricing quoted ($100 room/$200 girl for 30 minutes) is pretty standard for those spaces, so I wonder if Hypnokitten might've gotten confused? There are a couple of booths on the low side of the club that I've seen treated as reserved seating. These are right in front of the cutained VIP spaces along the same wall, so it's possible the dancer was referring to the private VIP and he thought she meant the "velvet rope" booth. I've never heard any dancer refer to "VIP" at this club meaning anything other than the private areas.

Does it count as a threepeat if only 2 were with the same dancer? Might have to go in the books with an asterisk * :-)

The fans and the "shows" you mentioned are both part of the club's effort to remain open by arguing that they are a "burlesque" establishment for performances, thus not subject to the draconian laws against alcohol and nude dancing establishments passed by the local jurisdiction (City of Doraville).
Tip generously and wish them the best in that fight, because after the three Sandy Springs clubs (Mardi Gras, Flashers, and Dollhouse/Main Stage), this one may be next to go.

Yet another case of a "review" that should never have been published because it's obviously BS.
I actually stopped by Riley's on a recent *night* shift and the lot was nearly full but the parking charges were less than half what this guy claims. There's no way this club filled up completely on a weekday day shift.
Also, who the fuck walks into a club without at least $40 in cash on their person? Did they think you could stage tip with travelers' checks?

The ultimate strip clubs goer.
Generally accurate from my experience, with exception of the "standard pricing" you quoted. Dancers are technically free to set whatever price they choose, but the normal price for 30 minutes in VIP (small 1on 1 rooms or the group room in the back) should be $50 to the house plus $100 to the dancer. (Last I heard the extra $2 "couch replacement fee" added to the house cut was no longer in force).
I've heard reports of more girls asking for $200 "all in," and a disappointing number of tourists and newbies paying that or even more without question. **Please do not do this** If your girl is especially hot or goes above & beyond somehow, give her a generous tip when you're done. Paying extra just because they ask encourages inflation and generally poor return on investment for all of us.

Sounds like you were getting more than the usual quota of tall tales on this visit. Unless there's been a very recent change in City of Atlanta regulations, the age limit to dance is still 18. I'm 100% sure that other metro ATL clubs (e.g. Oasis) still have under-21 dancers.
Sounds like the floor mileage was *much* greater than my last visit to TT. I'll be interested to see whether you just had fortunate timing, or if that's a general trend.

100% agreed, s275ironman.
If garbage like this keeps getting approved I wonder if Founder needs to reinstate the "flag review" button. Or better yet, have the approving members' names posted to the review so it's easier to weed out the chumps encouraging this nonsense.

It's fine that you spent what you thought was fair but please stop overpaying and overtipping, especially for what seems from your description to have been, at best, average service.
Tacobob, Lotsoffun, and Sal69 have it right - you took a first offer that was double the average rate. If you want to tip generously, do it, but don't contribute to GPS by agreeing to absurd numbers just because you *might* want to see this dancer again.

Too much of a good thing is never enough
Seconding the "good on ya" for calling out a ROB by name, but you should post that portion of the review under Bogart's - both to get the word out, and (if you care about such things) for the additional VIP credit it's worth.

@Goldmonger there are (at least) 2 different men's room attendants that work at Follies. One is an elderly black gentlemen, who I'm sure the OP is describing. There's also a younger white guy with blonde hair that I've also seen before at Tattletale. The older guy pretty much keeps quiet and doesn't do much, the young guy can be obnoxious with chatting guys up and giving them shit for not tipping.

"Everything written on this site should be considered a work of fiction."
In GoldmongerATL's defense, what he stated in the Flashers review was that he was *told* the club was crowded because others had closed, and he "Cannot confirm!" that report [as a subsequent comment noted, it was a false rumor]

I assume they'll stay open at least a little while as no-booze clubs, but I would be surprised if they last. Mardi Gras probably has the best chance since it's the nicest club of the 3, and closest of any to the new Braves stadium.

Have to agree with @rh on this, if you expect Atlanta pricing anywhere in SoCal you are going to be disappointed. BnL may not be the best overall value club in the greater LA metro, but their prices are better than most.

Isn't it simple? If a dancer isn't accepting the advertised price, don't buy dances at inflated rates.

@PaulDrake Apparently this is a Deja Vu schtick. Quoting from my review of the Hollywood location:
"It turns out the waitress "dance" isn't a conventional lapper at all. She came back to the table with a balloon, then explained that she would dance on my lap until the balloon popped. As the next song started she placed the balloon on my lap then sat down gently but firmly on top of it. Not what I'd expected at all, but it was at least inexpensive and reasonably entertaining. Her gyrations lasted about a song and a half, though I suspect if the club had been busier that time would've been much shorter."

@DTS - Quoting from my review a while back:
https://www.tuscl.net/rev.php?id=320101&m=l
Rates are per song or by time, and where the dances happen depends in part on what you're paying. The "cheap seats" are in a series of dimly lit dance cubicles behind the main wall of booths. Bigger spenders go to the VIP in the front right corner of the building, with much more privacy and a curtain to shut out most of the world from you and your companion.
+++++++
Songs appear to be full-length (damn well better at these prices!). You can get good mileage from the right girl in the regular "cubicle" area, but more privacy can be worth the premium pricing.

Dayshift at Tattletale has been weak as far back as I can remember visiting - very few dancers, and a really dead vibe. Quality girls can still be found for a quality experience, but it's not what most PLs are looking for.
Ironically, I heard they just recently expanded their dayshift hours (from 3pm to 1pm opening, if my info is correct). I suspect they may be trying to capitalize on the downward trend at Follies, but from your review it sounds like not much has changed. My experience has been that things don't really pick up until the night shift comes in around 9pm.
