I wouldn't say that ymmv. You get exactly what you want at all venues in zona norte and the surrounding areas. You are guaranteed sex if that is what you want. The question is whether you are comfortable engaging in those activities in the tiny private rooms or if you want to walk 30' next door and get a hotel room. Shit, I've seen people do lines at their table in HK and I've seen discrete fucking in a booth of Tropical Bar. Talent does vary depending on the night of the week and time of day. La Malquerida turns into a relatively clean dance club for the locals after 3AM on most week nights; but you can still find a lady to head next door to Hotel Ibiza if you are willing to pay a little more.

But with the centuries of interbreeding (meaning colonialist rape), you will see plenty of girls with skin tone and features that could pass for German or Italian. There will be blonde dye jobs here and there, and there will be surgical enhancements EVERYWHERE!!! And once you hit the streets immediately outside of the clubs, you will find Asians, black (Caribbean girls are on the rise), and American white girls. Almost all pharmacias in tourist areas in TJ will have a "doctor" next door or upstairs who for $40~100 will write you a script, though this might take upwards of an hour since they have to go through the motions of pretending to give you an exam. Alternatively, bathroom attendants and ANY mesero (waiter) in HK will be willing to fetch you Viagra (and possibly other illicit substances) but the markup will be huge. A fellow TUSCLer tried a single pill [of either Viagra or Cialis] and it was $20~40. You should be able to get 5 to 20 pills at a pharmacia for that price, but that's the gringo tax when you can't navigate the services by yourself without a translator. Know the medical and local variations of whatever you are looking for. I've never gotten Viagra (sildenafil is the medical and figral is the Mexican label), but I did get Ambien once. I called it Ambien and the doctor had to get on the computer to look up the Mexican name of Stilnox before being able to write me a script. There is a pharmacia just 1 block east of HK. Piri Pharmacy by the arch is well respected and only about 3 blocks away, they also sponsor the local small business counsel. I've also been to one in Plaza Saint Cecilia, but I don't recall the name. They're everywhere and not hard to find.

Adjacent rooms might be a bad idea given the noise our debauchery would produce. But being able to Uber outbound in small groups for clubs or food runs might provide safety in numbers since Detroit doesn't have the best reputation. Would any locals like to suggest decent hotels in a centralized mongering location? I've read the guides and reviews from 2015 (shailynn!!!) and before but they have to somewhat out of date by now. This is especially true for clubs since talent shifts all the time. We would ideally stay in places that are not terribly far from the majority of the top tier clubs like Penthouse and Flight Club while being able to Uber over to the Coliseums and Henry VIII (Wongy said it was his favorite so I'll definitely check it out). TL;DR answer, for the most part, you can save money by converting to Pesos. But it's probably more worth your while if you are indulging in more than one fuck before crossing back. You can find multiple combio on every block in the tourist-friendly areas so changing money is not a big inconvenience. Most food and services will save you a lot when paying in pesos. These places don't want to alienate local customers and usually have a must closer exchange rate at the register. Most puta bars will have prices set in dollars since they cater predominately to 'Muricans. But their in-house exchange rates will still favor those who bother to convert to pesos. Best yet, you might find some girl who is just awful at math and get 800 pesos for the hour. Yes, it happened for me. Yes, this is me bragging. Contrary to what someone wrote above, most rent and utilities for locals are paid in dollars. It's a part of the problem that keeps immigrant (yes, they have them too) populations in a cycle of poverty since locals have to pay a percentage when converting to dollars to pay for rent.

For the record, Tijuana is more safe than Detroit.
