Well, that side of town just got scratched off from the to-do list.

Is it wise to start off at the cream of the crop? I do not believe people rave about Penthouse Club for its dayshift. I would suggest starting the day off hopping from dive to dive as mongers gather in numbers. The group will grow as people get off from work. Take the show to venues of escalating extravagance and end up at Penthouse at the end of the night. Live post on tuscl along the way. This is completely self-serving as it was my intent to sample as many clubs as possible on the trip.

One of the best taco stands in the world (featured on Anthony Bourdain, Rick Bayless, and countless other notable food/travel shows) has 10 peso tacos on Mondays. It's a 3 minute Uber/taxi ride from Hong Kong. They are also open 24 hours a day the whole week. TJ, the next tuscl meetup.

Extras are rare in most Portland clubs. This place does have plenty of hot young women; contrasted against slightly older tatted women found at most other clubs in the area. They also use lots of toys on their stage shows and will pull patrons onstage and engage in somewhat interactive stage shows. As for the vegan menu, it's alright. Just like how the Acropolis is famous for the Denny's quality steaks they serve, Casa Diablo basically has supermarket deli quality vegetarian dishes. It's the gimmick that sells it--not the quality of food.

Thanks to the gods, old and new. Thanks to all mortals who contribute as well. As someone who travels a fair amount, I utilize the knowledge found on this site more than I would care to reveal to civies. I don't really go out of my way just to club. But i look to tuscl for inspiration whenever there is a break in my schedule.
