This is a composite review covering many visits over the past several months. The basics: Oasis is in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. It’s easily accessible from the downtown area via I-85 and I-285. It’s located on a large lot shared with a Mexican restaurant with ample free parking. For those that want to pretend they are high rollers, the spaces by the door are designated as $5 VIP spaces. I’ve never used one.

Oasis set up a metal detector outside the door a few months ago. I’m not aware of any incidents, but I guess it’s a prudent proactive measure. There is no cover during the day. After 7:00 p.m., a $10 cover is charged. This will be waived with a military ID and maybe some other categories. The door girl will scan your temperature with a contactless thermometer, and sometimes ask you to sign and record your temperature on an entry log, sometimes not.

Inside, the club is basically one large square room. It’s not super fancy, but I would definitely put it in the upscale category. The L-shaped main bar is against the left wall, a second smaller bar in the far right corner (restrooms just past the bar). The island main stage is across from the main bar, a second stage is located next to this bar. There is a third smaller stage against the wall to the right of the entrance. This one and the second stage are used only when the club is busy. The third stage is also where “feature performers” do burlesque acts a couple of times per evening as part of the club’s effort to show they are a “theatrical venue” and not just a sleazy strip club in their legal fight against the City of Doraville’s efforts to shut them down.
