No worries. It's not that a big a deal. Just didn't want to see the discussion get split. It's not as easy to search for threads now since they stopped showing up in searches on the site.

For someone that doesn't read the Discussion board often, or just skims it, the way Daddillac's thread was worded is not obvious that it's about Follies being closed (unless they dig into the thread) - the way this thrad is titled makes it obvious to someone skimming the posts.

I mean it is probably the No.1 club on TUSCL. Probably the most known guy on this site, shadowcat is synonymous with the club. I mean it’s like Sonny and Cher, Starsky and Hutch, Peanut Butter and Jelly and Shadowcat and Follies. I’m surprised there aren’t even more threads on it.

Now there is nowhere to wear my baggy shorts commando so a girl can slip her hand up inside. There is nowhere to get a full grind lap dance where I get to grab a nice handful of tits, let alone do some finger banging. There is nowhere to get the (somewhat) unexpected surprise of a girl pulling me out right at my table.

Well, I've had the hand up the pants at a couple of other clubs, but it was very unexpected and very discreet. It also guaranteed I would take her to VIP.

Maybe I should check out Platinum. Sounds like it is a mixed bag, though.

I actually went twice when I was at dragoncon. was nice. met an incredible dancer with a souther accent. And it was CHEAP.

so what is the next follies?

At the end of the day, once a city sets its sights on a strip club(s), it's not a matter of if but when before the club(s) is forced out

seriously... IF follies were to go juice bar... alcohol seems to be an issue with the prudes in the city... maybe follies can reopen? lots of states and counties are ‘nude no juice’...

Clubs make too much $$$ from alcohol to pass up on that - I often think that SC owners become SC owners for the main-purpose of being able to sell overpriced alcohol and reap a-huge-profit-margin - perhaps it may not be worth it to them to not sell alcohol.

They can overcharge for soda too. But admittedly, people are like to order more beers than soda. And, of course, alcohol loosens judgement - which helps get people to spend $1,000 plus in an evening.
