Nice review, Jdavid9806. I miss Follies, too. Had to laugh, though. "Always felt follies was a little nasty seeing the girls throwing things behind the couches." Or spitting there.

@shawnmj, pay no attention whatsoever to desertscrub. He struts around like he's got the biggest dick on TUSCL, when in fact he *is* the biggest dick on TUSCL. It is a verifiable fact that more TUSCLers have him on "ignore" than any other member. https://tuscl.net/top40.php?id=11

Drock918
@Drock918, you've been given a lot of great advice here already. I'm a bit late to the discussion, but I think your plan to go on a Thursday at 9:00-ish is a good one -- kind of the sweet spot when there should be enough dancers to give you some choices, but not so many customers that it'll be hard to get the attention you want.
I want to circle back to reinforce what others said early in the discussion about the importance of you being the one to approach the dancers. In my experience getting couples' dances, this is absolutely essential. Be sure to explain what you'd like to do or see happen, and don't be shy. The girls have heard (and/or done) just about anything you might propose, so don't worry about the risk of shocking anyone. Be sure to discuss prices in advance, both the fee for the room and what she expects in payment for her. You may be able to negotiate a little, but if you agree to pay her well, your chances of getting what you want are likely to improve.
Some girls may turn down your request; I've had that happen, and it's certainly their right to refuse for whatever reason. Some dancers hate doing couples' dances; others love doing them. Even if they turn you down, if you have approached them nicely, some may actually suggest another girl or two who might be willing to provide the fun you seek. I've had that happen, too.
And yes, this is an expensive hobby, but just go for it. You've read the reviews and gotten some good advice here about spending. Once you have your first experience under your belt, you will have a much better idea of how you will approach it the next time. And the next. And the next!
Best of luck to you. You sound like a great gal with a good head on your shoulders. Your husband is a very lucky man.

PinkSugarDoll
PinkSugarDoll, I am originally from the Chicago area. I go back there now and then, but generally don't visit the clubs there. Like me, many of our most active TUSCLers prefer clubs with extras and/or high-contact dances at reasonable prices, and for the most part, Chicago clubs have neither of those. I suspect that's the source of the negative comments. That doesn't mean, however, that you wouldn't like working at the clubs mentioned in the comments above.
I will second your recommendation of "Devil in the White City." ("White City" refers not to race but to the color of the buildings erected for the 1893 World's Fair in the area south of downtown that is now home to the University of Chicago.) One of the most unusual and engaging books I have ever read. I liked the stuff about the World's Fair, but the running account of the simultaneous atrocities of the serial killer -- a doctor -- happening just a few blocks away was fascinating. Hard to believe, yet all true.

Good to see a review of what it's like at night. Thanks for posting this.
"Fifteen minute VIP sessions were $200 in addition to $60 to the house." Another reason not to go at night -- during the day, that's the price for 30 minutes.

BuckMcNutter, in principle I agree with your statement, 100%. However, the end result was more complete than what you assumed from my purposely vague description.

They had a DJ, and the stage was never empty during the time I was there. Songs played were of normal length and not cut short.

I read that someone misheard the first line of the Beach Boys' "Help Me Rhoda."
The line is "Well since she put me down I've been out doin' in my head."
He heard "Well since she put me down there's been owls pukin' in my bed."
I actually like the misheard version better. The first one barely makes sense. The imagery in the second one is pretty stunning, actually, and fits the mood of the song perfectly. I'd need help, too, if there'd been owls pukin' in my bed.

Gonzooo, welcome to TUSCL. You are a good writer, and now that you have added the additional details, this is an excellent review. I look forward to seeing more reviews from you.
Pay no attention to desertscrub. He claims that *every* positive review is a club ad.
There is a way for TUSCLers to "ignore" assholes like desertscrub, and if you check the Top 40 list for Members on Ignore, you will see that he is -- by far -- the most ignored member. With good reason.

"With some girls I have had to ask them to slow down because I want to enjoy more foreplay...Get my time/money's worth. The ideal situation is when I have to let her know that I can't stand it anymore and to finish me off."
This is totally my MO, too. Ideally, that happens at about the 29-minute mark.

^ +1 on what C.M.I. said -- especially his last sentence. I feel bad for every dancer who gets trolled by some TUSCL assholes just for posting pics (and Arizona Turd Blossom is the worst offender).
While not every dancer who posts a pic here is *my* cup of tea, any one of them will likely be attractive to some of the guys here. And regardless, a dancer who posts a pic is a person who deserves at least a modicum of respect for putting herself out there, whether or not the approach she uses is well done and/or effective. At least she's trying.

Love the thread, skibum. Thanks for starting it.
Not sure how many of you are familiar with the late Dan Fogelberg, whose first hit song, released in 1974, was "Part of the Plan" (produced by Joe Walsh). In 1969 I saw him play by himself -- for free -- to a small crowd at a coffeehouse at the University of Illinois when he was a student there. I saw him again in the summer of 1973 at the Exit Inn in Nashville, where he played, with the house bass player, to an audience of about 10 people. He went on to sell millions of LPs before he died of cancer in 2007.
In 1976, I got to hear a new band from Rockford, Illinois, play a show to about 40 people. Despite the small audience, it was a very high-energy performance, and the lead guitar player was literally swinging from the rafters onstage. A real show-off. The following year, they released their first album, titled "Cheap Trick."
This is not *my* story, but I once bought a guitar from a guy in my home town who used to play in Little Richard's back-up band. He told me that for a while they had a lead guitar player -- a quiet guy, known to them only as "Jimbo" -- who never rehearsed with them and only showed up when they performed. This guitarist went on to have a pretty decent career of his own using the name Jimi. Yeah, Jimi Hendrix. Can you imagine?

skplar, you seem to be a reasonable person asking basic questions new TUSCL members would want answers to. However, as others have hinted at in comments to your three postings, you need to understand that until you have contributed some reviews here on TUSCL, seasoned members might be suspicious about your search for info about activities that may not be legal.
I'm not suggesting you are in law enforcement, or a bible-thumping, evangelical puritan, Hell-bent on exacting retribution on sinners, but without evidence to the contrary (i.e., informative and detailed but not *too* explicit reviews you write based on actual, current visits), how are we to know?
I would suggest reading the TUSCL Review Guidelines, then submitting a review or two about any relatively recent strip club visits you have made. Your observations are more than welcome.

Interesting place to search for "the Truth." Is this where you learned that the only way you'll get any "Likes" on your comments on TUSCL is to hit the "Like" button yourself? Seems there *is* a lot of truth in that.
