Touch of follies
I will start by saying although I don’t live in ATL, because of business I spend a ton of time in ATL. I was a long time patron of follies and am still heartbroken its gone. There is a part of me that doesn’t want to believe its really gone. If i was driving and not taking Uber everywhere I would of driven by to pay my respects. That said I have been watching this club on instagram under the name of folliesdayshift. I messaged a couple of legends Shadow and Papi to see if the hype was real and they brought my exceptions back down to reality.
Walking into Vivide and expecting follies you will be let down, walking in knowing that there is going to be a little touch of follies and you might be ok.
First, $10 at the door and a pat down and you enter into the upstairs part of the club. This part of the club I actually wish was consistent with the rest of the club. Its darker, and some little cuts to where I could see myself setting up camp. But that area was not happening on weekdays in the afternoon. You walk down some fairly steep stairs where I saw a dude almost fall, and walk into the main area of the club.
