Am I the only one here who utilizes strip clubs for what they are--a type of entertainment? I suppose so. And it isn't a fantasy for me either, either. The money I withdraw from my checking account sure is real. Her vagina sure feels real.
What is apparent is that many (most?) of the people posting here seem to have the perspective--and I could be wrong about this--that strippers are basically surrogate girlfriends.
There's nothing wrong with wanting companionship and intimacy, and certainly strippers are people too, but here's my question to you gentlemen: if you want a girlfriend, why not just get one? That way you can avoid dealing with the baggage of strippers and have someone return the affections.
Perhaps many of you are not sexually attracted to women your age. That's fine, but at least be honest with yourself about the nature of the transaction, being that
a) it's business for her, and
b) your affections are unrequited
As I'm writing this, I have come to understand what you guys mean when you refer to a fantasy...fantasy in the sense that you want her to be your girlfriend. But she isn't.

As stated earlier I had several theories as to why strippers tend to date mostly black dudes:
- most drug dealers are black guys? We know strippers like their drugs and you can't beat the convenience of a boyfriend. This is probably the biggest reason
- the loser boyfriends are often supported financially by the stripper, so they're literally pimps. Most pimps tend to be black dudes...
- strippers often have unstable lives typical of the American underclass (homeless/mentally ill/prisoners/unemployable) and this group is filled with black dudes
- the media glorifies thug culture and black dudes are seen as more masculine to women with low self-esteem (many strippers). These women are drawn to masculine types
- black dudes are less likely to tolerate their bullshit at home and more likely to keep them in check?
- the big dick stereotype? It's common knowledge that strippers are sluttier than other groups of women

What you need to understand is that, from the club's perspective, you (the stripper) are a customer of the club too. You're paying them for the opportunity to solicit a business transaction with the opposite sex just like the male customers are. The difference is that your cover charge (tipout) is higher so that the male-female ratio is skewed enough to maximize profit for the club.
As far as the club is concerned, management couldn't give two fucks if you sold a thousand dances or zero. At the end of the day they're still going to get their tipout from you.
If I sat in a club for five hours one night and no dancers stopped by to sell me dances, the manager wouldn't give a shit if I said something about it. Why would he? He's already made his drink and cover charges off of me before I even saw the entire rotation. He's going to tell me the exact same thing he would tell a stripper with a similar complaint about no one spending: "Oh well...nothin' we can do. See ya tomorrow."
One day I'm going to come down there and give the girls a very basic team meeting on microeconomics.
