I rented this Dvd recently and I thought other TUSCL readers may find it interesting. It does have a touch of pretense but it was still a good documentary with lots of nude footage of 30+ porn stars (mostly female). I liked the extended interviews with the porn stars which had a touch of candid confessions (done in front of a camera atleast) about their experience in porn.
My favorite was Gina Lynn because she said she was a dancer before she did porn. Her philosophy and sentiment were similar to my own and I loved the brief footage of her dancing.

What's the name of the dvd? I saw After Porn Ends, a documentary of interviews with some of the biggest names of porn from 70's and 80's.

It has bonus footage with extended scenes ... Jesse Jane was pretty jubilant, nude in the pool looking stunning. I have only watched a little porn. @ Trixxi: Then you're a kid, finding someone else's porn at home is just part of growing up. I recall finding my dad's stash of Playboy magazines at about age 8, and then seeing my mother's reaction when she found them months later. Also, as the mediums for porn advanced, around age 14 I found an 8mm reel of porn that was also my dad's. I had to go to the trouble to set up the movie projector and screen to watch it, and all that when I hoped my parents wouldn't be home!
I've tried to suppress this , but when we were 14, we swiped a 8mm film from one of our friends father and watched it in another friends garage. It was our first porn. It was a german shepard fucking a girl!! We were stunned. And to think it belonged to good ol Mr. Jackey up the street!

Most porn stars--but not all--were strippers at one point, I'd say maybe 70 percent.
A lot of strippers become porn stars precisely because they can earn more money doing "feature dancing". So the mentality and lifestyle is very similar.

Gina Lynn and Jesse Jane sound like feature entertainers I've seen. I never saw them in the movies though. Gina looked like she was getting to be a little bit old to still be dancing.
