Agree Cashman to each their own. I have a "look" that will instantly grab my attention, but to someone else it might be meh. Likewise a great personality from a dancer can definitely move them up a notch or two in my book, even to the point of wanting to go to VIP with them.

I usually pay in $100's or $20, and round up to the nearest increment of $20.
For example:
3 dances at $25 per dance = owe $75; I'll pay $80
5 dances at $25 per dance = owe $125; I'll pay $140
3 dances at $30 per dance = owe $90; I'll pay $100
If we pre-negotiate what we will do in VIP for say $150, I'll give her $160. If $200, I'll give her $200.

Wondering the % breakdown of those visiting SC's who are hobbyists (i.e. like most of us on this site) vs. those who visit only for a special occasion (i.e. bachelor party, guys night out, ect). The hobbyists who visit SCs are good and experienced at what they do. The special occasion group might visit once or twice every 10 years, or once or twice in a lifetime.
I'm wondering if it is the special occasion crowd that is easily drawn in by the "uglier" dancers. To this group, they are in a room full of half dressed to naked woman, and their senses might be overwhelmed. For us hobbyists, we've seen it all, so we are a more measure group as far as what we are looking for. And since as a hobbyist our visits are more frequent, we can afford to be more choosey or selective, as we know there will always be a "next time" at some point in the near future.
All that said, I see dancers at the club and will wonder who is getting dances from these girls beause they are just not that attractive. This is especially so for certain girls I've seen 2-3 years now.

I tip $10 each trip to VIP when at PHC which is voluntary. PHC is a very nice club so just comes with the territory.
My hometown club is probably considered the nicest in the city, but their VIP set-up doesn't really call for tipping anyone when heading back.

After the OP's follow-up above, I would stay away.
The OP self proclaims not having much experience with women, which probably led to the rather bizarre question of if ID's should be swappep. And the additional details of the girl and those in her life put off a number of red flags.
That's just me.

Yes, this would be creepy and weird. Seems like you guys have hung out for a while and talked ITC so you should have an initial feel of her personality. Doesn't mean she might be crazy on an OTC date, but that could apply to you too. If you like her and/or are interested in sleeping with her then go for it and see where it goes. If you are just looking to score, and she is looking for something more like potentially a relationship, then you do have the potential to hurt her; up to you if that means anything to you or not. JS69 seems to give some pretty good advice above.

I tip $5 on stage, but only if interested in a dancer stopping by. I don't randomly tip girls just to be nice, and am not all that interested in how much fun other dancers and customers are having.
A lot of this answer probably depends on the type of club - i.e. high end club vs. dive.

Right Papi - but when a girl is hot and multi customers are tipping, does it help to be the guy who tipped $5, or $1?
Girls have told when receiving multiple tips while on stage, a lot of times they will gravitate first to those who tipped the highest because it tells the girls who is the most serious, and the most willing to spend.
Has nothing to do really with wowing or impressing.

I tip $5 if I'm interested in them stopping by after they are finished on stage. My logic is the $5 will hopefully set me apart from anyone tipping a few $1's, and if she ends up not stopping by for whatever reason I'm only out $5.
If I were at a club that wasn't as nice and/or didn't have as much customer competition, then perhaps I could tip a couple of $1's and be fine as far as getting them to stop by.

O.K. What does "keep" really mean?
If one doesn't pay for things like healthcare and retirement with their jobs, I supposed they are "keeping" more than someone who is those things. Not sure that is necessarily a good thing if one really thinks about it. Just pointing out a lot of variables to consider.

Variables getting glossed over:
1. Taxes
Not sure if a lot of these earnings figures are pre-tax or after-tax. Makes quite a difference (if doing things right).
2. Health Insurance
Guessing dancers have to get this on the site. Most people with regular full-time jobs have this covered by their salary. One never knows when they might hit, but medical expenses can be very, very costly.
3. Retirement
Most people with regular jobs are going to have some sort of employer matching/double matching on their 401K or retirement. Have to think about life in your 60s and beyond.
4. Stripper life
By this I mean at what point does even the hottest stripper start to lose it in terms of their looks, which correlates to their earning potential? Early 30's? That's great, but there is a lot of years to life beyond 30.

All those lines seem forward enough to suggest they may be open to OTC.
One thing I have noticed is when visiting my favorite club out of town, and mention that I am from out of town, some of the girls will ask if I'm staying overnight. Have never thought much of the question, and perhaps it is an innocent small talk type of question, but a part of me wonders if it is a small hint or opening that they might be willing to do something OTC that night? I don't know....

Given that she ranked an 11/10 on your scale, I say give it another shot.
Don't think I would ask for any sort of "credits" from last time. My approach would be to see her in the club again, but not do VIP. Explicitly state that you would love to spend some time with her OTC where you could do more with her, and give her something for her time. She says yes, great! She says no, you at least tied, and aren't out any more money.
Then again, what do I know. I'm still working on my first OTC experience....hahaha. Guess I would just try keeping it straight and real with her, and see where it goes.

Like your 1st theory Corvus, but not sure about the 2nd.
I love MILFs....but in their 30's and maybe early 40's. There is just not going to be much milfy body wise about a women 50+.....

Most times I get 2-3 PMs after a PHC review saying thanks, and asking some specific Q's on dancers.
It's probably why I check daily for reviews on PHC along with my favorite club in my city. I know my opinions of those clubs....but I'm curious to hear others and the latest.
