I think Death and MC5 are great choices as underappreciated, but influential. I would add Love. Going back to my 8-track days, I always wondered why UFO, Uriah Heep, and Wishbone Ash didn't get Deep Purple or Grand Funk Railroad popularity. I always saw Graham Parker and Elvis Costello as being similar, Elvis blow up, Graham not so much. Older bands I liked a lot that the average person has never heard of include: Big Star, Joy Division, Japan/Rain Tree Crow, Jade Warrior.

This is kind of surprising to me. With the popularity of Saweetie, Nicki Minaj, Megan thee Stallion, and Cardi B, I would think an attractive thick black dancer would be in high demand in the clubs right now.

How about a nice charcuterie board? Small bites so you don't get overfull. Lots of different flavors and easy to share. Doesn't take a lot of prep time, just a fair amount of grocery shopping. Get a couple quality cheeses, couple of types of olives, cured meat if you're so inclined, gin -soaked cornichons are nice, and a little bit of fruit. Strawberries or grapes, cotton candy grapes are wonderful when they're in season. Pair this with an inexpensive, but decent red like 2018 Austin Hope cab and you're set for the evening. Great now I'm hungry and horny.

I wouldn't pay for dances from her in a club. I wouldn't buy any of her albums to listen to. But there is something strangely compelling about her as a performer. I don't think she's attractive, I don't like her voice, but somehow her stage presence is undeniable.

There is certainly some cachet to the Corvette marque, but I kind of doubt 1995 with 200 K miles is going to be of much of a chick magnet. Especially if the car is nearly as old as the dancer.

YESTERDAY you had sniffles and a cough. Today you feel better, but still feel the need for sudafed and a cough drop. Ignoring for a second that that is a common presentation for Omicron in the triple vaxxed, pretend for a second it is 2018. Even before Covid, if a provider masked symptoms to not cancel a date and then gave me a cold, I would be pissed. A few days of runny nose, scratchy throat, and cough because she wasn't honest with me. If I found out she was sick the day before and didn't mention it, I would never see her again. Reschedule is the responsible thing to do. Leaving it up to her to make an informed decision is the minimal.
