This is my experience... I always thought they were under reporting cases and we see health care workers as these heroes in the media...
So I'm trying to get cut and maybe over did it. Yesterday morning I passed out at the gym while lifting weights. Hit my head real bad and my back is so sore.
I came to pretty quick and the paramedics checking me out said I had a bad arrhythmia and that probably caused my fall. My heart was all over the place so they brought me to the hospital.
They gave me a covid test and said im positive. I checked my medical record on the myhealthone app and my blood work and is normal now after they stabilized the arrhythmia. I googled every single result so I know what it all means. They listed meds that I supposedly got but didn't.
The covid test portion says a positive antigen test means exposure to covid not that you have it. It says you can have another type of infection or a related infection and basically said you need a covid symptom exam to confirm the results.
My record said the test was performed after a doctor consulted with me about covid symptoms. That's not true.
They put me in a room with another patient and when I said what if she has pneumonia or something I'll get it and they were like put your mask on.
The original Blood work when I arrived just showed an electrolyte imbalance. And now I'm here for covid.
They basically won't let me leave claiming if I go they can't prescribe heart meds. And that keeps me here coz I'm afraid of passing out like that again.
This is far from what I imagined a hospital would be like.
Maybe I'm wrong and stupid and paranoid but they never consulted with me about covid symptoms and never gave me the meds they claim I'm getting for an infection. And my blood work doesn't show signs of infection. But I'm in a fucking hospital room with a covid patient....
