    Anyone been to Istanbul turkey?
I've been to Istanbul, but didn't partake of any adult oriented entertainment. The bazaar was interesting. The Blue Mosque was impressive. The ferry across the river taking you from "Europe" to "Asia" was nice, and gave some good city views. I had some good food, and one restaurant owner was amazingly friendly. On the downside, multiple cab drivers were aggressive cheats. More than one tried driving way out of the way on some pretense and demanded various payments. I practically had to jump out of a cab at one point. Maybe this was because I was American and/or didn't speak the language, but it was pretty irritating. This was pre-Uber, so things could easily be different now. Istanbul isn't on my list of places to return to.

What dows VHM UHM NMT mean?
The "mileage" terms are all pretty useless. Generally "low mileage" is (or was) not much touching and "high mileage" is a lot of touching. But there are users here who describe fondling a dancer all over and getting rubbed back through their pants as "not much mileage". So for some "mileage" is just sex or at least direct skin-to-skin genital contact. In reviews, topless vs nude is helpful and touching specifics (none, only legs, ass, breasts, etc) are descriptive. But calling a dance or club "VHM" means almost nothing. (Queue grumpy-old-man theme.)

    Fun time and different experience!
This doesn't sound like the club I've been to. There are no beads, it's an open doorway into the lap dance area. The area to the right is one of the main sitting areas, not a small walkway, and has the main (small) stage. For reference, @Techman, dances are $25 each, or 5/$100. Dances are topless. There is no "VIP".

Yes, the second floor, "Upper Brass" club had its own stage.

    Great inside, sketchy outside
Were your dances on the floor? The regular lap dances here are $30 for a couch/topless dance and $40 for a bed/nude dance. They were $20/30 pre-covid, but that's a while ago.

    Good visit Friday night.
The reviewer didn't get lap dances, but I'd be curious if they are still strictly hands-at-your-sides, no-touch affairs. Years ago (pre-covid) you could touch hips during a dance and more during a VIP. My more recent visits had heavy-handed enforcement of no touching at all (except a bit of hips in VIP). Also, @LocalHick is right that this isn't the only nude club in Wisconsin, or even the Madison area. On the north side of Madison is Club Bristol, and they get nude there (and usually allow touching during dances). I haven't been to either in some time, though, so perhaps things at one or the other has changed. It's nice to hear the quality has risen at least.

Flight Club is my current favorite club in the country
FWIW, I arrived via Uber a couple years ago (September 2021), so post-Covid but fairly long ago. I didn't have any problem with the club letting me in, but did have trouble getting an Uber to show up to take me back to my hotel. I had the same problem at Landing Strip. If the ride-share availability is the same, I'd rent a car rather than risk being stranded. But the club didn't turn me away.

sexy dancers but a slow experience overall
I miss the $20 floor dances at Palomino. With the excellent stage show and large crew of dancers, the club was a favorite for a long evening of sampling variety. Now that you're looking at $100 minimum per dance(r) it's a different experience.

    Mileage in Manhattan
I've never found Manhattan hard to get around. You can walk many places, and I've had good luck with the subway, including recently. As for clubs, I've had decent times but nothing that would be considered UHM by the folks here. Rosewood Theater was the least "strip club" of the bunch I've tried. A couple years ago I had some very good dances there. My last visit was much more disappointing. Rick's in midtown had some attractive dancers during the day, but the floor dances were very mild. Hoops (next door to Rick's) has always had some good dances (fondling, bit of grind, etc), maybe the most reliable of the ones I've tried so far (though again nothing outrageous). Vivid midtown was exceptionally variable. Several dances insisted the club rules required a no-touch dance while others encouraged lots of wandering. Wonderland was a decent club, but had very tame dances. The ones from "Lido Lounge" inside the club were slightly better, but still fairly mild. If you're looking for TUSCL-level "good mileage", or extras, my guess is you'll be better off checking a few reviews and then catching a ride-share over to Jersey, though I haven't explored how hard that is to do.

    Nudity on Stage Getting Rarer
FWIW, the dancers on stage at Hustler in St. Louis/Washington Park always get nude during their stage set, whether on the main stage or their smaller "cage". The same is also true at Palomino in Las Vegas. In both cases some dancers make more of a show of it than others, but they always dance the last song nude.

    Baltimore notes - "The Block"
I had intended to give daytime a try, given the reviews here, but didn't get the chance. I didn't find my dance away from the bar a waste. It was a pretty good dance, though not the full experience you can get in VIP. The prices (for dance and VIP) were definitely high for the quality of club and dancers.

So let me get this straight on voting
Have any of you ever worked at the polls or a city or county clerk's office, or done even the tiniest bit of research on the processes involved in voting? Or how things are checked during recounts? There's a reason all of the lawsuits alleging malfeasance were tossed out with prejudice, even by conservative/Trump-appointed judges. There was no evidence for it (and plenty of counter evidence). Fox News paid out, what, nearly a billion dollars in a settlement with Dominion because they lied and lied and lied about voting irregularities. The idea of "busloads of illegals" voting is a fantasy on par with denying that we landed on the moon. I don't understand the appeal of Trump. He's an incurious, ignorant, bigoted clown at the end of a lifetime of scams. That he's the leader of a cult of personality is baffling to me. But whatever you see in him, or however much you want him to be elected again, the fact is he lost the last election. And then tried to stay in office anyway, committing even more crimes in the process. You should find other people to follow.

    “Money Spent” Review field ?
Individual/specific costs are valuable: cover charge, price per dance, timed-dance options, drinks, etc.. The costs for those can affect whether a club is worth visiting for a particular person, or help them set expectations if they do visit. The total amount spent is not at all useful. It's either without context, so useless (maybe half of it was for some random extra) or the review has the context, in which case the total spent has no added value. In addition, the total spent seems to mostly be used to judge the reviewer rather than the club. If the total is noticed, the comments tend to be either "What a cheap MF" or "You spent $x and didn't get laid? Loser." depending on whether the reviewer thinks the amount is low or high. So I don't see any value in that field.

Beautiful dancers, great stage show, good lap dances - at least on Saturday
I don't want to submit an entire review, since this one is only a month old. But I happened to be back at Hustler a couple of weeks ago. They had replaced all of the chairs with the new ones they'd had around the stage, so they've addressed that issue. The dancer lineup was outstanding, if possible even better than before (though still too small for the number of patrons), and the stage performances were terrific.

@Ishmael - I understand a positive review can be suspect. For what it's worth, it was honest. I didn't expect either C-Mowe's or Wise Guys to deliver the kind of experience I had here. I did have mild hopes that I could at least replicate the decent time I'd had on Thursday, but alas that was not to be. Fortunately Saturday night here made up for the dud of an afternoon.

    Bait and switch
@59 - I did consider saying something, and probably should have, if only to highlight the bogus "I have to pee" excuse. But I was aggravated, as much with my poor choice as the scam, and just walked out rather than get more upset trying to have a conversation with the bartender/manager.

Palomino is becoming less of a value proposition.
I've sadly had similar experiences with my recent visits. It used to be that if I didn't take a cab, the cover was $30 and included two drink tickets. I saw others getting charged more, and I assumed it was to cover the taxi spiff. But on my last visit a few weeks ago they charged me $66 even though I didn't arrive in a cab and it was early enough to be mostly empty. I've also seen small groups being told entry was hundreds of dollars (basically requiring that they buy a table/bottle). Between that and the loss of $20 floor dances (so the minimum to test out a dancer is $100+), it's definitely harder to enjoy the club.

Le Rouge Lounge or Rosewood for GNDs?
I tried both recently (https://tuscl.net/discussion.php?id=81381). I was somewhat disappointed with both (though I enjoyed my previous visit to Rosewood). Of the two, Rosewood had more GND dancers, outfits and experiences, I think. The Le Rouge lounge was just a room off of Wonderland strip club.

Casual space, nice dancers, good dances, really loud
Techman - I'm afraid I didn't ask about the cost of VIP. The only dancer that brought it up didn't pique my interest, and Manhattan VIP prices in the past have been so outrageous that I didn't bother asking anyone else.

    Manhattan lap dance clubs
For what it's worth, my experience at Rosewood Theater a year ago was quite good. Somewhat expensive, but not outrageously so. I had a fun time with quite good dances from very attractive dancers. This time around was not the same. Very expensive, fewer and less attractive dancers, and less fun dances. Definitely disappointing.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
    Amateur nights
The Hustler club in St.Louis/Washington Park does (or did) their "honey search" on Wednesday evenings. They didn't run it every week, and didn't always have (all) new/amateur dancers. I've been there when it didn't happen at all, and when they've had at least a couple of the performers being already working dancers. But I have also seen dancers that looked new/amateur. I think the last time was pre-covid. They still advertise their "honey search" Wednesdays, but I don't know if it actually still happens.

    Another guy with Vegas questions.
If you want "glitzy" I'd recommend Treasures or Sapphire. Both are reasonably nice inside. I thought Treasures tried harder to be "fancy"; whether they succeeded will depend on your perspective and how the night goes. For what it's worth, the dinner I had at Treasures was pretty good, and not terribly priced for Vegas if you get it with the entrance/VIP seat/drink package. Neither place is going to be cheap. If you want a more engrossing stage show, I think Palomino is the best bet. Every time I've been to Vegas, the stage performances there have been significantly better than any of the other clubs. It's also full nude with alcohol if you care about either, and their drinks are not as expensive as other Vegas clubs. The Palomino is not at all fancy, however, and shows its age in a few places. It's not a dive, but it's significantly smaller and more basic than Treasures or Sapphire. The only burlesque performance I've been to is "Zombie Burlesque". I went near Halloween, which added a layer of entertainment as some in the audience were dressed up, but I believe it runs all year long. It is not remotely a strip performance (definitely more nudity on Cinemax). But as a theatrical production, I was entertained. It was light hearted, had some decent burlesque dancing by attractive people, and better than expected singing. Another show option would be Opium. It's a variety show, with different performers at different times. The various acts (contortion, stomping, crazy roller-skate stunting, etc) are strung together with very raunchy jokes. The low-brow humor makes it at least adjacent to the more straight-forward boobs-and-music shows.

Clowns… Frickin’ clowns… and the Cirque du Soleil
BJ McNaughty was a feature dancer at Hustler in St. Louis/Washington Park last fall. Her performance was entertaining, though more silly burlesque than sexy. I ventured a lap dance with her, which was definitely interesting. When she took her clothes off, any chance of me being distracted by thoughts of another clown vanished, but the makeup wasn't really my thing. As I mentioned in my review at the time, it's probably not something I'd repeat. If you're into clowns, though, I think you'd enjoy her.

The busted sofas are terrible, but for what it's worth not _everyone_ prefers the high tops. I'd rather have a dancer sit on/in my lap than do a standing dance while I sit/lean on a high top chair. It'd be nice if they put in some high tops for those that want them, and replaced the beat up couches with something else for those that like that kind of seat. I get that furniture is expensive, but it seems like a reasonable investment would pay off. And I think it's just stupid to not pay a plumber a couple hundred bucks to fix the urinal. That has to be a drop in the bucket for operating costs. Strip clubs get leaned on and disadvantaged for sure, but their management also makes decisions that look odd to me.
