Casual space, nice dancers, good dances, really loud

Hoops is midtown, just a few doors down from Rick's Cabaret. It's very narrow on entry with a bar on one side and some high-top tables on the other. A bit deeper in it opens up a bit to a rectangle that includes a small stage surrounded by small tables with upholstered chairs, and long padded benches on the side and back walls. The bar had lots of TVs behind it, and there were a few others in the main space. With those, the brick walls, and the waitresses in athletic shorts & tank tops, it felt a bit like a sports bar that also had naked women rather than a strip club.

I arrived a bit after 11:30pm on a Saturday. I showed them the free-entry pass from their website on my phone. The guy said I was supposed to print it out, but let me in without a cover anyway. A bottle of water was $10.

There were maybe 15-20 dancers. One was dumpy, one was older but still good looking. The rest were at least fine and several were hot. The majority were latina (one of whom was gorgeous) or black, with a few white. Some had accents. One claimed to be Ukrainian. Most sounded local, compared to the diversity of accents/backgrounds at Rosewood. Most had un-enhanced bodies, though one had a ridiculous looking ass.
