sexy dancers but a slow experience overall

I went to Palomino recently on a Saturday evening. Me and a friend both had to work early on Sunday morning (Vegas locals), so we decided to roll in at about 5:45pm, and had called earlier to make sure it would be open then. The voicemail recording assured us that it opened at 4:00pm, but alas, the voicemail recording is WRONG and they don't open till 6pm. Oh well. We went in right as doors opened and a bunch of girls were sitting around ready to start dancing, but no one actually came on stage till about 6:50pm. At around 6:30, I asked the bartender why no one was dancing yet, and he said something about the DJ not being ready, I think? At any rate, once the dancers were dancing, it was pretty good - most of the dancers were sexy and fit, although of course their inter-activeness and friendliness varied, and none made contact with us at the tip rail, despite tipping a few bucks a song.

The DJ kept saying we could get lap dances in the main room but the dancers I approached said that "only some girls do that, but not me" and that if I wanted a one-on-one experience with them it needed to be in the VIP room. I couldn't really afford that so passed, sadly.

Overall, the place is clean and remarkably free of smoke, which I liked. But the relative lack of value and late start were a bit frustrating. The dancers were pretty sexy, though, so they were at least fun to watch and to tip.
