Bait and switch
I left a less-than-thrilling visit at C-Mowe's on a Saturday afternoon and figured I'd pop into Wise Guys just down the street on the off chance I'd have more luck there. The club was very similar to C-Mowe's. It had a fenced-in parking lot. Inside was a big rectangle, with way more space than was being used. The bar here was a short one on the end instead of a long one on side. There were more tables and on the far end some upholstered chairs. It had at least one unused stage.
There was no cover at the door when I arrived. I bought a bottle of water. I don't remember how much it cost, but it was less than $10 and included the cover according to the bartender. A shot I bought a dancer was $5.
There were two dancers there when I arrived. I almost turned around and left, but figured I'd drink some water and wait a few minutes in case there were others hiding somewhere. One of the dancers came to chat. She was friendly enough, though asked for a drink immediately. She accompanied that with a stripper handshake, and the shot was only $5, so I obliged. We talked for a bit, and she kept up a bit of teasing - not quite as dedicated as the dancer at C-Mowe's on Thursday but enough to keep my attention.
