Mileage in Manhattan
Hey Everyone!
As part of my little US Tour I’m also going to NY - staying in Manhattan - and would love to know of there are any clubs that offer good mileage and aren’t tourist traps.
I read something by a fellow TUSCLer that to get good mileage , or extras, the lace to go is NJ… Is that true??
I’m happy to go outside Manhattan but would prefer not to go all the way to NJ if I can avoid it.
Thank you!!!

Anyhoo, it is a short uber to a place in Long Island city called Show Palace. Not super great shakes but, frankly, there ain’t much in in the NYC that is rick approved—rickproved, if you will (though perhaps you should ask the dugan for a second opinion). The last two times that I was in NYC that has been my strip club destination. I went to another place before that in Astoria (I think?) before that, but now you’re reaching fuzzy memory time. We lions live in the now.
Like I said, remember that Manhattan is hard to get around. It was a longer uber (in terms of time) to have dinner with friends on the upper west side than it was to get to Long Island city.
I was traveling to NYC a ton in the aughts and always used the subway then, and frankly it was fine, even late at night. However, I haven’t used the subway in years and a bud of mine who lives on the upper west side hates the subway now. His advice is to just never take it. And he wasn’t opposed to the subway in the aughts, so I think it is fair to say that the subway has changed.
Overall, my advice is figure out what is close to where you’re staying and use an uber. And realize that short distances sometimes take a lot of time. And have a roaring good time!
I feel for the PLs that are limited to playing solely when away from home.
Rosewood Theater was the least "strip club" of the bunch I've tried. A couple years ago I had some very good dances there. My last visit was much more disappointing.
Rick's in midtown had some attractive dancers during the day, but the floor dances were very mild.
Hoops (next door to Rick's) has always had some good dances (fondling, bit of grind, etc), maybe the most reliable of the ones I've tried so far (though again nothing outrageous).
Vivid midtown was exceptionally variable. Several dances insisted the club rules required a no-touch dance while others encouraged lots of wandering.
Wonderland was a decent club, but had very tame dances. The ones from "Lido Lounge" inside the club were slightly better, but still fairly mild.
If you're looking for TUSCL-level "good mileage", or extras, my guess is you'll be better off checking a few reviews and then catching a ride-share over to Jersey, though I haven't explored how hard that is to do.
I did find Rick's Cabaret had a few girls who gave good grinds back in the two or three years right before the pandemic. Can't say what it's like now but based on reviews it seems to be trending down for contact and up for price (like pretty much every SC these days).
I personally like Sapphire 60 because you can find some unreal talent there.
Standard in manhattan is typically $20 for one way open dances.
VIP I wouldn't reccomend nowhere unless you loaded but hey use that money to try take that shit out, you might be able to get that done.
At the end of the day for better or worse I like places where the clubs are walkable and be it good or bad it's fun club hop by just walking and manhattan is one of those few places where that's thing. Just make it an adventure and good things might happen.
Extras can be had in any club if you hit the right price point. In Manhattan, that price point is usually much higher than most of us would accept. Maybe you have a grand or more to work with. Me? I'll buy mine someplace else.
