My closest strip club is rumored to have a nice menu but not sure whether to trust it or not. There have been a few recent threads on eating at the club with some for and some against. I guess I should give it a try to know where I stand on the issue.

I'm big on the eye contact that you're talking about. If a chick isn't my type starts approaching me, I'll quickly look away and that usually sends them in another direction. I'm too big of a softy/nice guy to be rude outright so I will avoid saying no until I absolutely have to.
A quick wink at the girl I'm interested in will generally get her attention and bring her my way.

I was told no touching by a raven haired beauty at a club in Panama City once. The only thing I did was let the back of my hands graze her thighs. Only had 1 dance from her!

Short answer is that I see it as an over commercialized way to make people spend money for something that should be done regardless. You love a woman, buy her flowers and cards and tell her how you feel no matter what day it is. But if its valentines day and youre In a telationship with someone you're no longer crazy about, still got to do something just to keep the peace.
I guess that wasn't quite as short as I intended but you get the point.

Buying enough drinks doesn't mean you have to get her shit faced drunk though. Last time I was at the club I bought the girl a shot of 100proof that she requested, which she sipped slowly while we talked and then went back for a couple of great laps. She gave the best mileage I've ever gotten at that club too. I'm not saying its all bc of the shot, but whatever it was I enjoyed it.

I'll be staying home with the wife, but my s/o isn't really thrilled about that. I think my next strip club will be next week. I hate this "holiday" so the wife might get a card but haven't gotten anything else yet.

I've never approached the topic in the club but would be willing to help almost anyone learn to handle them safely and aim. I'm not going out to buy a pistol for anybody but I think everyone should know the basics. Lets face it, there are bad people out there who have guns and have an immediate advantage over even the best fighter. There's little chance of reasoning with a crackhead who wants to hurt you.

I take this attitude with family and friends too. Never make loans at all. If thy need the money that bad and you want to help, just give it to them but never expect it back. You're just asking to be avoided when they can't pay it back.
