the speed force!
Zipman - It might not be all bad. I was back in JAX for Thanksgiving and stopped by Sins on Black Friday (to recoup from shopping!). I was hoping to catch Katya, but ran into Julie from DH instead. Had some fantastic dances from her.
She says Katya is working nights at Sins and everyone is hoping for the new DH to open by the end of the year. There might be a light at the end of the tunnel!

Art - Almost every Sailor knows what you are going through - it's like going to sea. When you mind and body know you are not going to see any for awhile it distracts itself with other thoughts. As the next port of call nears, the thoughts start to reappear until you can see land and "channel fever" sets in. I'm sure you will feel better when you start packing your bags for Toronto.

@Samuri - I prefer a strong Black & Blue division - it makes for better games. I know the Vikes will make a comeback this year. They have all the pieces.

@VM & @ Dolfan - Thank you for the advise. I'm glad I will be in town for more than one night so I can check out more clubs!

Like a few others, I go with a set budget. I find that at the higher price clubs I tend to spend more at the tip rail and only get one or two dances from each dancer. At the $10 clubs I tend to get four, five, or more dances per dancer. I also seem to buy more dancers drinks at the $10 clubs after lap dances. I seldom leave without spending my entire entertainment budget.

Great philosophical question, Shadowcat. For me, SC trips are for the fantasy and entertainment. I'm not a SC regular. I like to binge with several clubs over a long weekend. It is the fantasy that so many beautiful young women are willing to spend such time with a haggard goat like me that I seek. It's a break from reality. I binge two or three times a year as mini-vacations to get away from hectic real world. That is just my take. Everyone goes with a different mission.

I've never really been a regular anywhere, but averaged at least one visit a month until moving to JAX. The SC scene here is not worth the time or money. I end up only visiting clubs when I travel. I save up my entertainment dollars for better experiences in Tampa and Miami. I now average four months between SC weekends (three to four clubs over a Friday and Saturday). My longest break was three years while stationed in Japan in the 90s.

Like Samsung1 and others, I like variety, but like HonestT dislike extremes. I have had both great and terrible times with all types of dancers. When I first walk into a club I tend to look for the most exotic looking dancer.
If there is more than one that gets my attention, for some reason I look at their eyes. The eyes just seem to tell me more about her than other physical traits. Her physical traits get my attention, but a "fun" personality opens my wallet.

I have a few times. It made for some interesting conversations and a long half hour at the bar with a rather large bouncer sitting next to me watching my every move. I have kept my hair "Navy regulation" length since retiring and usually wear business casual to clubs. When I asked why, they told me I "looked" like a cop. I guess that means cops must have short hair, a growing waistline, and look old and tired! It hasn't come up around military bases (Tampa, Cocoa Beach, Jacksonville, Norfolk/VA Beach, Fayetteville), but has in the Detroit area and Miami.

The funniest sob story I've heard was this past Saturday at IRC in Cocoa Beach. It seemed one young lady had her stripper shoes stolen from her locker and was looking for assistance with her "shoe fund." It was humorous watching her dance in the official footwear of Florida - flipflops! I wanted to get a LD from her anyway after seeing her on stage, flipflops or not. She gave an excellent LD so I added some extra for her shoe fund.
