Dancer asking me once at 2am to drive her to a second late nite SC that opened til 6am or so after her current shift ended. I ended up driving her and her dancer buddy. I've done and had no problems My only warning is this: be wary about visiting a stripper's place because she knows you're coming with money. Exactly when and how much. I agree to say something but I can also see it's harder said than done. Like certain dancers I may let slide because I know they'll take care of it without me saying, I hope. my take: i hear what you're saying, bro. and it's weird how that happened between you and the dancer--her not remembering. though you're curious, i wouldn't worry about it or put any more thought into it. i've learned that people simply forget things (sometimes temporarily forget) that actually happened. at some point they'll remember again but not when you're around. why do they forget in the first place? because, in my opinion, everyone has a certain way they view themselves. so they'll lie & make up shit on the spot when reality doesn't match up with the way they view themselves. for example, a decade ago, i was a computer cat in an office. everyonce in awhile my computer department and i would get an office worker who got locked out of their computer or phone due to not remembering their password and not remembering their challenge question to change that password. the challenge question would be like: what's the name of your cat. and they'd tell me, i'd never pick that question because i don't own a cat. and, well, i've seen/heard this a million times by then so i'd respond, think hard--you owned a cat once, try to remember. they'd get angry and be like sir i told you i never ever ever owned a cat; i'm allergic and i hate cats, i hate all animals. i'd calmly say again: think again, you owned a cat because you're the only one who can set up these challenge questions--no one else in the world can set it up but you, so you owned a cat and you put an answer in there. think hard. and they'll get so angry they'll blurt out the only time i owned a cat was for one month when i was 7 and i was allergic so i gave it up to a shelter; the cat was named mr. mittens and oh my god do you think that's my security answer? i'll say try it. bingo it works. and they'll say wow how did you pull that out of me--that memory. i'll be like you remembered it at one point to put it in; why you forgot about it i don't know but this happens daily, i deal with this daily. happened so much i have a very low opinion on folks and their personal memory.

recently, on one of my birthdays, i spent the day by myself. turned off my cell and turned on my headphones. listened to music all day and didn't talk to anyone. walked around by myself downtown to check out the buildings. ate whatever i wanted when i felt like it. nobody to rush me around or tell me what to do. didn't have to answer to anyone. it was a sunny warm day and i'll always remember it. oh and walked around in something comfortable: a v-neck white tee shirt, sweatpants, sneakers and a light jacket. it'll be a birthday you'll always remember--the one you spent in quiet solitude where you didn't have to answer to nobody. turn your cell off!

i apologize. this indeed came across / came out extremely troll-ish. lemme clarify to shed some light. good thread i don't tell dancers my actual first name. that feels way too weird for me. i don't get how i'm supposed to reveal my actual name to a person who's using a stage name. and it feels even weirder when somehow a dancer gets my real first name and uses it on me. (because i do give out my real phone number to a select few and every once in awhile, for some damned reason my actual name pops up on certain cell phones / cell phone plans. so a dancer will see that and realize my real name.) and i especially hate it when a dancer finds out my real name and then corrects other dancers who still call me by my fake name--in front of me!! i'll see two dancers who've known me for a while, both approach me at the same time, one'll be like, "hi gothamyte" the other will be like "hi luke skywalker" and then they'll both look at each other. i usually take my cell phone with me to jot down strip club songs that i like that's playing. surprised other folks aren't into that. man, sometimes they be playing great music at the strippies. i'll write down the lyrics as i can get em or the chorus and google it later. i don't tell a dancer what i do for a living. if so, i try to make up some low-paying job so they don't expect a big tip. tell em you work on computers or work at a law firm or dress like you work somewhere important, they could hit you up for more monies or they'll ask you to help em with computers, or help them sue a neighbor etc for free. i'll tell em i'm working on a mix tape. that'll get me left alone.
