When I started the hobby in 1994, dances were always $10 at the two clubs I visited most, and I seldom spent more than that until about 10 years ago. Over the years the cost of a lap dance has gone up to $15 and $20 at these two clubs and at most others in Illinois/Indiana. Now the only places where I can still find $10 lappers are the Hip Hugger in Kokomo (always) and a few clubs in Indy such as Babes and Harem House (on Tuesdays only).
Now I'm used to spending $20 for a dance, though I buy fewer at $20 than I did at $10. On rare occasions I've paid $30 for a nude lap dance at Jimmy's, Club O, or Club 390 in the south suburbs of Chicago, but they are rarely worth it.

It took almost 20 years from the beginning of my regular strip clubbing (in 1994) until my first extra (BBBJCIM in 2013). For most of that time, I was only dimly aware that extras were even an option, let alone OTC play. After all, Chris Rock taught me back in the late 90s that ""no matter what a stripper tells you/There's no sex in the Champagne Room."

I agree with goosman: one of my peeves about the current system of granting VIP access to TUSCL is that a short, poorly written, uninformative review routinely earns its author as much access as an encyclopedic, highly informative review by such sterling authors as Papi_Chulo.

Having written 101 reviews of 77 different clubs in the past six years or so, my review-writing pace has slowed way down. Nowadays I write a review only when I visit a new club (which rarely happens any more) or something has changed substantially since my last review of an old club. I think my only new clubs this year are Hot Bodies in Austin and Blackjack's in Elgin, IL.

22+ years as a regular. My first strip club was called something like Tingel-Tangel in Cologne, Germany in 1978.
For 20+ of those years I never even thought about OTC, but three different strippers have broached the subject this year. I've enjoyed their company a total of eight times, mostly in hotel rooms but twice in the apartment of my favorite. It really seems to be true that once you get your first OTC experience under your belt, subsequent ones are much easier.

In my defense, this is how I dress by choice all the time (except at work).

One summer many years ago I befriended a gorgeous stripper, at the Silver Bullet in Urbana, who was half-Hawaiian and half-Japanese and had big natural tits with pierced nipples. (Mmm . . . I found out she was a graduate student in engineering at the University of Illinois, she found out that I know a lot about math, so we conversed one night about second-order differential equations.

I can think of one recent example, a girl-next-door type who started in summer of last year at my usual weeknight club. I noticed her early on because of her phenomenal rack and great conversational skills, but her lap dances were only so-so. Fast forward one year: Now her body is as sensational as ever, her face and hair are somehow edgier, more "stripper-y" . . . and her grind is so skilled that she gets me off almost every time, which is harder to do than it used to be!

Seriously, though I don't keep track, I'm certain that I've spent tens of thousands over the past 22+ years. For over 20 years I spent only a couple of thou a year, but in recent years it's been several thousand and this year, with my newfound interest in OTC dates and *lots* of ITC BJs, I'm sure I've burned through over $10K. Overall I have no regrets, though there have been some "loans" to strippers this year that I wish I could get back :)

Heavenly Bodies is OK but is the opposite of a nude club. Dancers must leave their tops on while on stage. Even in the lap dance area, they merely pull their tits out of their bras, and touching is discouraged.
Club 390 in Chicago Heights and Club O in Harvey are allegedly nude clubs, but in practice most of the girls don't take off their bottoms on stage, offering peeks at most. This leaves Skybox, also in Harvey, as the best nude club. In my experience, all of the girls here get nekkid on stage every time.

I believe that pheromones and their effect on the opposite sex are real, but I want my strippers to smell freshly showered and with as little perfume as possible. One of the things that I appreciate about my ATF is that her pussy simply smells and tastes clean -- no funk, no perfume, just clean.
