Never had a stripper stolen from me but a long time (about 1978) ago I had a car stolen at Queens Plaza, a week later I got a call from the 109th precinct that they had found my car near Main St. Flushing, of course the car was stripped, does that count ?

Fireworks are fun but if you want a real charge go to a range where you can rent a large caliber gun, no fireworks that are available to the general public (at least what I’m aware of) will give you the kick that firing a Desert Eagle or something similar, large caliber firearm will.

Here in South Florida if you’re a dayshifter you can usually buy a beer for 7 bucks, many places do a bucket of 5 for 28 or 30 bucks, and some offer a 2-4-1

They’re not asking for 46% they are asking for 46% over a time horizon of 5 years, they don’t expect to get the full amount, and the auto manufacturers will give them a substantial raise. The comments here show that it’s a stupid tactic to negotiate in the public eye.

^ When I was your age I don't remember any Walmart parking lots, but I did occasionally stop in a truck stop, I remember they had hot clean showers used to be a few bucks, and if you ate in the diner, they never hassled you about parking overnight you could sleep safe in places like those, there were some large chain stops places were pretty clean and the food was pretty good, you could even find a truck stop whore, if that was was you wanted

I only stay in hotels or motels, run by the major chains, and every one of the places I have stayed in, that I can remember has security, if the place is in a seedy area I won't even stop

Not too much closer than NJ, you could try Queens, Brooklyn or the Bronx, but if you don’t know your way around you’ll find traveling through the city to be expensive, and the subway and busses are notoriously dangerous late at night
